Wanting Mayweather to win so I can rile people up = being cool and edgy.
I don't understand how that makes sense in your head.

We just got 4 reserved spots at the Hooters bar in The Gaslamp for 20$ each. Ticket includes two 10$ coupons for your next visit. Plan on getting wasted celebrating an early Cinco de Mayo downtown.

I lucked out on this one, the mother in law is ordering the fight just to have an excuse to throw a party and have folks over.

They are the two biggest draws in the last 10years in boxing. People will watch it for the sheer hype and relevance of moment in sports.
However I get the criticism, because this will not be an entertaining or momentous event once the bell rings. It won't be Gatti-Ward that's for sure. Floyd will fight out maneuver Manny who will try to rush Floyd and throw combos similar to what DLH did. Floyd is just too good defensively and he will escape or clinch all night and throw just enough jabs and be smooth defensively to win the rounds. If there is a KO it will be unspectacular.
The moment will live up to the hype, the fight will fall terribly short of it.

Btw, I don't mean to always be coming at you

Not at all. Mayweather fights are boring.

Doesn't bother me. It normally leads to pretty entertaining discussion.

No I hate Mayweather and I wont give him any of my money. ESPN will cover the shite out of it anyway, not like I wont see the results 459 times by the end of the weekend.

This feels like one of those sports questions my wife asks me that I really don't feel like explaining but I just take a breath and answer because she's capable of withholding sex.
You do not have such capabilities at your disposal (that I know of) so I'm just gonna say I don't feel like explaining.
I understand if people don't want to pay. If I weren't getting together with a group and having a great party around it, I probably would just stream online, but its significance is unmistakable.
It would have been historic 4 or 5 years ago. Now, it's just overhyped; guys looking for one last big payday.

You know, people keep saying this, but sometimes fights are MORE entertaining when boxers are past their prime.
Arguably the most exciting heavyweight fight of all time, the Thrilla in Manila, was when Ali and Frazier were both well past their prime. It was the best fight of the trilogy.
The fact is none of us knows what will happen. It could be boring but that goes for any sporting event. Something great could happen as well.

Hell, my dick could grow 3 inches overnight and I wake up with a bed full of OT10s, but I'll go with "probably not."

i will be chipping in.
it's a mega fight, and a shite ton of people want to watch this happen, no matter if it's now or 5 years ago.
People say they are past their prime, but is there a more entertaining, more deserved fight than this at this point in time, or in the past 5 years? heck no.
it's gonna be a great fight no matter the outcome.

Will chip in for it. Won't purchase it alone though

neither; "type in"

When does the fight actually start? And if it goes to decision, when will it end (approx)?
Posted on 4/28/15 at 11:19 am to The Mick
Bar. And frankly, I would pay more to watch at a bar than home. Lot more fun atmosphere.

The fight won't start any earlier than 8:30 pacific time. I believe it's in all of Floyd's fight contracts.
De La Hoya was the same way.
