They jacked up the PPV price by $25 and took away one of the undercard fights.

Instead of $75 for four fights it's $100 for three fights.

Just two years ago PPVs were $55

Sorry I really dont follow boxing.
This feels like one of those sports questions my wife asks me that I really don't feel like explaining but I just take a breath and answer because she's capable of withholding sex.

You do not have such capabilities at your disposal (that I know of) so I'm just gonna say I don't feel like explaining.

I understand if people don't want to pay. If I weren't getting together with a group and having a great party around it, I probably would just stream online, but its significance is unmistakable.

I just paid $70 for a ticket which includes an open bar. I look forward to getting shite-faced and making drunken unwelcome advances towards the young wimminz all night long.

Surprise surprise

Roots heavily for Winston and sticks up for him at every turn. Wants a women beater to win a fight so he can mess with people who want the nicer fighter to win.

Yet you get on my case when I say I have you and others pegged as certain types of people

You're so cool and edgy

Eight years ago, you didn't no who Pacquiao was. No one did. And he was three weight classes below Mayweather.

Unquestionably the top two fighters in the division, two of the top four P4P fighters in the world, combined 13-1 over the past five years against the best competition from three separate weight classes, the two highest-earning PPV stars in boxing history. . . Yep, clearly on the decline.

floyd runs around and circles, no one can land a punch on him, floyd lands just enough punches to win the round. wins the cards. wins the fight. starts hyping the rematch. rinse and repeat.

Why isn't that remarkable to you?

He actually usually throws fewer and lands more punches than his opponent, all while not being hit. People act as if that's easy to do and can be accomplished simply by "running around."

Me neither and I can't find anyone that can give a good reason why it's really historic.

wrong frickwad. at the beginning of 2007, hype for this fight was mounting, but they couldnt work out the details, so mayweather fought a completely over the hill de la hoya on 5/5/07.

they are 38 and 36 years old. and the 36 y/o is waayyyyyy past his prime. the fact theyre still at the top of their sport is only an indictment of how bad the sport has gotten.

There was never any talk of Mayweather-Pacquiao until 2009 when Pacquiao KO'd Hatton and Cotto.

In 2007 Floyd fought DLH at 154 and Pacquiao was still fighting at 130.

shite, in 2008 when De La Hoya-Pacquiao was announced people thought it was a total freak show because Pacquiao had to jump two weight classes to fight him. It's easy to look back and say Pac dominated a drained DLH but at the time very few people thought Pacquiao would even survive the first half of the fight. But the talk of the fight didn't happen until Pacquiao stayed around 140/147 in 09 and beat Hatton and Cotto and Floyd came out of retirement and dominated Marquez.
