Their schedule is kind. They will have dog fights with Richwood, Pineville, and WO. Hell Ouachita can't even punt the ball 30 yards. They can't run the ball and they can't pass protect.

Ruston could have scored 40 the other night by just running the ball and Baugh decided to practice throwing the ball 20 times instead and won 20-6. Ruston is not very good this season either.

You know WM frosh beat this team last year. And the JV lost to them by 6 last night with at least 4 starters out with injuries.

Man, Neville ain't beating WM regardless of their talent. Everyone in Monroe is scared of them boys .

Just stating the big division 1 talent is there. The rest of the state is a different story. Seems this season will be who is healthiest as the playoffs begin.

I do agree that Ouachita is turning into a dumpster fire...no support, no discipline, meager talent. They have some good coaches over there, but it has been a slow rot for years. They're a basketball and softball school now....mainly because they recruit their arse off, and good for them

Ouachitas freshman beat WM and looked better all around.

Should I say Ouachita is a contender in the next few years? No.. They have the best looking freshman bunch out there in over a decade and still won't win a damn thing.

Neville's freshman is not good outside the huge lineman.

West Monroe's freshman, although superbly coached, is not loaded with talent. The big DT could be a solid player if he keeps with weight under control, but Ouachita looked very much better than them all around.

They don't have the guns to compete with what zacharh has coming up. To say or think otherwise is silliness. After this season is over Zachary may reel off another 2 or 3 in a row with the talent they have coming up.

OPHS Class of 96, on the last team that beat WM in 94 which was Vallery’s last season. East Side High has been in a nose dive since Coach Val left. Mahoney inherited lackluster talent and Collins did OK until he went to Longview. All downhill since the spring of 95 in the fieldhouse on Millhaven.

And I’m quite sure the world will continue to spin. What a weird thread. I’m trying to imagine the type of person that would not only be compelled to post it, but to argue against himself in it all day. I gotta tell ya, none of those types look good.

Ouachita went downhill when the new Richwood High School opened up.

Let's be real here. We're talking high school football. No need for "pitchforks". 15 to 18 year old kids.

Not something for grown adults to get upset over.

I'm shocked Destrehan is still alive in this playoff. By all accounts from those close to their program it was going to be a bit of a "rebuilding" year. Struggles during the season seemed to confirm as much. I was expecting WM to win by double digits. Any word on what type of team Haughton is bringing to Destrehan this week?

WM is losing a lot next year but, it’s not as much as appears.

Their line this year was not very athletic, just big (overweight). Losing the QB early really hurt them this year. However it may help them over the next few.

FreshMan QB is good and will be able to run the system well. Lots of younger talent in the wings.

Maybe not next year but, in two or 3 they will be ready again.

Sophomore class is very talented. Had several sophomores start or get significant playing time. Freshman have a few studs but not nearly as deep.
