Best senior class they have had in years. Had three consecutive classes of division I talent that have graduated and no rings. The next crop coming up isn't close to what they have had and lost with deep in the playoffs.

Now I've been told they lost their starting QB to a season ending shoulder injury. They have already lost 2 defensive players to season ending injuries too.

When will the locals get the pitchforks?

WM football is about to die like the rest of the greats before them if they don't hire a young established modern coach. Was a hell of a run and enjoyed every game.

1996 they won state with about 14 of their starting 22 being first time starters, including their QB. Definitely hurts their chances but let's slow your roll on the doomsday talk.
Yes I know that was 20 years ago but what a weird time to throw that out 1 year after losing the state championship on a busted play.

No way that defense holds Acadiana, Destrehan, or Zachary to under 30. And.....you know it.

This ain't 1996.

I can't see it. Not with what I've seen out there coming up. Meanwhile Zachary has a 5 star QB in the wings and so does Destrehan with Eugenes young boy.

A decade is a long time with no rings for West Monroe.

Yeah locals don't get pitchforks out when a team may lose because of injuries.

When it’s comes out that the coaches caused these injuries?

Will the fan base be disappointed with losing a starting QB and other players you named? Sure they will, They will battle and work through it, injury is part time of the game.

Did you really start this thread to question if WM would win another title? Or chuckle about losing a starting QB?

Stop projecting.

No one is laughing about an injury numbnuts.

No one answering the question altogether was obvious.

Good try

They won all those titles because they were at a level that no one else had reached. Now several schools have reached that level. So they’ll win one out of every several titles. I’d say one per decade, or it’s a disappointment.

That ain't good enough for these folks.

One every decade won't cut it. The cupboard is bare. What is coming up isn't winning a title in the next 4 years.

That is 12 years.

As long as they don't have to play Evangel in the post season, they'll have a chance.

Right, and for the past 2 years, they've been the 2nd best team in 5A. Hard to say they're done based on that.
