Instead they rode him like a wet dog, even when he was gimping, they rode his arse. shite takes its toll.

Dude, Fournette missed 6 games his junior season and only had 129 carries. No, LSU didn’t ride him when he was gimping. Guice took the lions share in 2016

I think players are going to feel that not risking an injury and stock loss
injury risk is a myth.

Chase isn't the one that will determine if it becomes a trend. Even Parsons or Bateman because their seasons were canceled. Guys like Gregory Rousseau of Miami will be the guys to watch to see how it plays out. His team is playing and he's far from a 1st round lock.
Kids go from 1st rounders to 2nd or even lower during the dog and pony shows during Feb, March and April leading up to the draft with no football being played so it only makes sense not playing the game when it's available to you will hurt stocks as well.

you said true sophomore. They would have to sit two years as one has to be removed 3 years from HS to enter the draft. I did not read all the other posts so this may have been covered.

Could also be that this isn't going to be a "real" CFB season.

I think this point is being overlooked by many.

Everything with Covid has been so crazy and unpredictable, who knows if they’ll even finish a season, who knows if there will be a championship, etc. And even if there is a championship game, it won’t have nearly the same meaning for Chase as last year’s did.
