Nah.

Atlanta and NE both allowed the rules to be what they are.

I have no sympathy for bitching about rules now. They likely have never bitched about it before, doing so now would be a real cop out.

I think the NFL overtime rules suck but this doesn't change it

If the Falcons wanted to win and avoid overtime, I can think of at least 19 things they needed to prevent in just the 4th quarter.

Nah. Teams are made of an offense and defense.

Atlantas D was shite at the end there. They didn't deserve to win.

It absolutely should. It's akin to having extra innings in baseball and if the visitor scores 4 runs it's over and the home doesn't get to bat.

I do think NFL OT is absolute crap...

but this game won't change it.

Do agree with the baseball analogy, that was spot on.

You idiots are missing the point. Yes, Atlanta didn't deserve to win.

NFL OT still sucks. College OT is much better.

Glad I got to see an OT Super Bowl in my lifetime.

I hate NFL OT rules too but with the momentum NE had it wouldn't have mattered. That was legitimate destiny type shite.

Credit to Bill for electing to be the away team. Got control of the coin tosses.

NFL OT is fine. There is more balance to it than meets the eye once you really think about it.

The nfl sudden death was fine before they changed the rule. Only like 30% of teams won on the very first possesion.
