Hey man, you are morally and intellectually superior because of your anonymous message board posting. No one is as smart or moral or as good as you. You win, we all lose. You can die happy now that you’ve proven your superiority.

The best part of all is you pretending you’ve never had a hot take that missed.

Good Lord you’re one insufferable douche.

I am wrong all the time about sports. Everyone is

But saying things outlandish about athletes never accomplishing things is just emotional irrational responses

Your childish responses every time someone says something you disagree with isn’t emotional or irrational though.

Got it.

literally no one has ever said those things

It was definitely said about Phil back in the day. Not only could he not get over the hump at majors, it was the era of Tiger dominance. A lot of people didn't believe it would ever happen for him.

Phil was already in his mid-30s when he finally broke through at the Masters.

Those examples you posted are all in reference to events that can only happen in a finite amount of time, unless LeBron really is a succubus that is not mortal, I’m not sure the concept of forever is relevant to your point once a player retires/dies without accomplishing those types of feat then saying that will never happen would be accurate

You’re kind of doing the inverse of what you’re calling out by saying in hindsight it was obvious that of course these things would happen

His entire self worth is about thinking up self-perceived gotchas on the internet lol

And he’s going after people that probably forgot they even said these things becuase nobody gives a shite and gets as hard as he does over self perceived internet gotchas

The percentage chance of LeBron never winning a ring was extremely low. Almost . Yet,it was the majority held opinion on this site for a while.

All the others listed were extremely low as well

It is not hindsight to say it’s wild a decent amount of people said and truly bought into all of them

It is tho, just like it would be hindsight if he didn’t actually win one in his career and people called you out for saying it was an inevitability

That’s kind of the whole mechanics of sports debate. “I think I know the future better than you and here’s evidence from the past that proves it.”. Mostly just noise to pass the time over some beers

You’ve been abnormally pathetic over the last couple of days.

I don’t think it’s strange when 50% of people predict something will happen when the odds around even. That make sense

It doesn’t make sense to me when about 50% of people believe something with +5,000 odds (which is generous honestly for something like Lebron never winning a title)
