He's averaging 31/10 in the playoffs and is the only player to do so other than Kareem, Shaq, and Hakeem. I'd say that's a pretty damn impressive accomplishment. If he doesn't put up those numbers the Heat don't make the finals, much less win a championship.

and the Lakers with Kareem? the Lakers with Wilt? The Lakers with Shaq? The Lakers with Pau? The Bulls with Rodman? The Celtics with Parrish and Walton? The Pistons with Laimbeer, Mahorn, and Vinnie Johnson?

Players change teams in pretty nearly every sport. Some of the best players in the history of the NBA changed teams when they weren't lucky enough to be drafted by a great franchise

Let the bullshite hate and excuses begin. LeBron only won because fill in the blank. If he wins one. It will then be he needs to win another and so on.

So the Thunder don't have a big 3 in westbrook, durant, harden?

Celtics garnett, allen, pierce AND rondo?

Lakers with Magic, Worthy and Kareem?

Lakers with Shaq + Bryant?

Do those championships mean less than Lebron's? Based on your logic, they should. You have to win one on your own with no help

Thunder - drafted all their players
Celtics - starts all this team-up garbage.
Lakers- pretty sure magic, worthy, and kareem didn't all get together and make backdoor agreements to play on the same team. Well, Magic might have... And they drafted Kobe and acquired a free agent through conventional means. Shaq nor Pau were having secret meetings with Kobe and promising to play with him one day.

But I'm sure you've been a heat fan forever...

As much as I love Jordan, having Phil Jackson instead of Spolstra is much more of an advantage than having Wade and Bosh over Pippen.

I don't buy into the it takes away argument, but if you go the other way and Pierce or Garnett are somehow able to win a ring before joining up their careers are probably fought more highly of.

KG especially is consistently underrated as a player cause Timberwolves didn't do anything except 1 conference finals

I dont think it will be underwhelming, I think the better word for it would be EXPECTED. So when they do win, its really not that huge of a deal. Winning any championship is an awesome accomplishment, but everyone has expected this team to win it all and if not its a failure. Which i think is pretty fair criticism by the way.Just like if Boston never won one it would have been a massive fail

So to you it matters how the team came together??? Why, doesn't make any sense. So because the Thinder drafted their players it's more legit than getting guys through free agency? Since when is free agency back dooring and under handing? I wasn't aware

Lebron is an awesome talent, he has put in the work and he didn't deserve to be in exile in Cleveland while they continually put sub-par talent around him. He deserves a championship. Stop all the hate and appreciate what you are seeing. I love Durant and I believe he will get his too. They like every other team that ever won a championship have to pay their dues and learn from their mistakes.

Exactly. The Thunder have a comparable big 3, but they were joined together by incredible drafting and development by the organization.

Miami was just the meeting place of a bunch of whiny sore losers. Boston too.

When superstars make deals with one another to join one team and play there for the sole purpose of winning a championship quickly.

I'm just curious why this matters. If you're a heat fan or not, you can still disagree with your "meh" championship point of view.

Thats way more honorable than going to a place because they will pay you the most money, which is usually what free agency is about

I just don't get the argument that they are tainted because they wanted to play with each other. Some guys want to play for themselves, some guys just for money. These guys want to win. Wade had to realize to win he would have to take a step back. Bosh too. He was the MAN in Toronto. They put their ego's aside to win a championship.

Alabama's championship last year is the most underwhelming achievement in sports. A high school team could have beat LSU in that game plus bama did not deserve to be there in the first place.

So Magic and Jordan and Bird all did it the right way, ok I'll let you roll with that argument.

Now where did they play?
LA
Chicago
Boston

Where did Lebron and Bosh play

The middle of Ohio, where Noah said it best, "I've never heard of anyone say 'I'm gonna take a vacation to Cleveland'"

And Toronto.. speaks for itself.

They were getting NO help from the front office.
You're just mad and it's funny to me. This is why I also disagree with my fellow Lebron fans that think after he wins a ring people will stop the hate. The hate will never stop. People like you will always say wait, wait he didn't do it the way I think he should so his championships mean nothing

Why? Because the players got there based on pure luck rather than free will of the individual players?

Either way, the Thunder and Heat have great players. How they got there is trivial.

My one and only team is the Hornets. After them I could really care less who wins it.

Just bringing up a valid point. Sorry if it upsets the Heat "die hards"
