Didn't Kentucky only lose 1 game last year? Pretty sure it will happen again. Kentucky has a great chance next year if they pull Wiggins and Randle

You're right. Just looked it up. 1976 Indiana, and it was a 32 team tourney. I had forgotten that the teams in BR had all won a game already.

There's no doubt in my mind that had Kentucky's 2012 team occurred this season they would go undefeated... this year's UK team didn't play at IU, and obviously the SEC is a joke. They would've absolutely cruised through the regular season and NCAAT (field as a whole is weaker this year compared to last).

I still think someone can do it... but the circumstances have to be right... a weak conference like the current SEC, C-USA, or WCC could do it, granted Memphis will no longer be in CUSA.

Two losses last year, 38-2. Lost at Indiana and at Vandy.

they lost one game, dumbass... the finals of the SEC Tournament to a decent vanderbilt team. They went 18-1 in conference play last year.

I agree, there is no team this year close to that team, maybe Indiana and Louisville, maybe.

I think it's possible for a team to go undefeated, but it will be tough. UK was a great team last year, but still lost twice. It's difficult to go undefeated, and then win a conference tourney and a 68 team tourney.

And you're a UK fan? That must have been a pretty full bandwagon last year

The only game that could've been a real struggle is that December game at UL... but Noel & Co. nearly pulled that one out.

The top tier teams this year weren't able to separate themselves, like Kentucky did last year... UK 2012 is obviously one of the best of all time... and under the right circumstances (like this year) could go undefeated.

It would probably have to be a dominant team from a weaker conference similar to a '91 UNLV or '08 Memphis. It'll be really hard for a team from a major conference to run the table.

Why so mad?

Anyway, I think Kentucky makes a run for the 40-0 next season.
