1 championship.

Then he just sorta existed in the big 12 for a while.
Good game against Bama, but what else has he done to write home about?

So WINNING the big 12 like almost every year is just "existing"?

Twice as many BCS bowl wins as Miles.

You mean by winning it every other year?

How about going down as the only coach to ever win all four BCS Bowls?

Looking back, I'm still puzzled by Bob's 03 team. Just the way they completely collapsed at the end after completely dominating the majority of the season. I remember sportswriters hailing them as the GOAT before losing to K State.

Tell me about it... Terrible end to the season. Similar to Bama's team this year

no, the k state loss was absolutely shocking. they were blown out while bama lost on a miracle play. as somebody said earlier, people were talking about that oklahoma team as the possible g.o.a.t.

I was ten years old that season so I'm just speculating. But perhaps the collapse can be partially attributed to Mike Stoops leaving for Arizona. He announced he was leaving prior to the KSU game and then left the team before they began practice for the title game.

It would've been interesting in 06 if y'all didn't get screwed in the Oregon game.
We still probably would've been selected to play Ohio State though.

I'm sure it has already been said, but Stoops doesn't get as much love because the Big XII, as a whole, is weaker than tSEC and Pac 12.

Drop the Rebels in the Big XII and we win 8+ games per year, every year.

The real factor that defines conference staying power is tradition, and tradition is dictated by money spent on athletics; Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee. That's a lot of championships and a lot of money.

And drop A&M/Mizzou in the SEC and they'll be lucky to make a bowl

Idk, the offense just completely shut down. Jason White all of a sudden turned into Jarrett Lee.
