The US has a team?...j/k.....I root for Holland cuz I was there for 3 weeks during the last world cup. Got caught up in the excitement of their finals run. Otherwise, I could care less about soccer.......but I almost feel the same about the NBA and NFL too.

That's not the point. When people say "European soccer", they're talking about 4 leagues, one of which isn't actually even in Europe. There are 28 countries in the EU. They all have domestic leagues and most of them are worse than MLS.
