Why is there always that one white college b-ball player that everyone hates?

Seems like a long-standing tradition. Henderson seems to have run away with that title this year, joining the long illustrious list of Duke white boys among others.

Duke's a special case. You can go look at the thread on that Duke chick's letter on pg 2 and see why Duke's hated more than anybody. Plus they usually have good white players so they're going to get hated.

Well Smith helped lead Duke to a championship, so I'd say he got a fair amount of fawning on by Vitale, etc. The average Duke hater targets their hatred for the white players

Henderson is a hothead. I can see why people hate him.
But white college basketball fans, especially white college basketball fans who are college students, love to hate on white college basketball players.
I think it's because they love to get really aggressive and in-your-face about a certain player, but they're afraid of being called racist. So they find a white guy.

Oh undeniable about that dumb broad. Duke is more of an exception but there seems to always be that one white player regardless of the team. Anyone remember Chas McFarland from Wake Forest a few years ago? He makes Henderson look like a choir boy

It's cause they are athletically inferior most of the time. They have to play a different kind of game to be successful and most people get upset by that.
I hated Tyler Hansborough more then any player in the last 10 years solely because of the way he played.
