Fox's coverage is nothing like it was back then.
They basically only did the BCS games. They didn't do any college football during the season. Now, they have games on every single weekend, and they are heavily involved in Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac 12 broadcasts.
It would be a lot better.

I really like Herbie. McFarland and Pollack are hit or miss. I agree that Matich and Galloway suck.

You’ve gotta be under 25 to think Gus Johnson would be “epic”. Gus is horrendous. “OMG!!! A 3 yard run!!!”

Totally agree that Fowler is meh as a play-by-play guy. Same with Herbstreit on color. They should be in studio. Blackledge is the only guy doing games I really like on ESPN. They should have promoted Nessler to top dog.
I'm fine with Gus and Klatt doing games, but I think the Fox studio is a clown show. Wanny is like the Ditka Bears SNL fans personified, Leinart speaks in cliches, Robert is a dick, etc.

I don't mind Fowler. He's sort of boring though. He's a better studio host than play by play guy. I don't like Herbstreit during games either. He talks constantly.

Idk why they forced those two into the booth as their "big game" team when they had a lot of quality play-by-play guys on their payroll at the time. Doesn't make sense.

I think Griese needs moved away from Levy
The Friday crew of Amin and Dvoracek are good
Patrick and Tubberville along with Pasch and MacElroy are good also
But Herbstreit needs to just do studio shows
I’m in the minority but I do like Brando and Tillman as a pair

There were a few times they showed the Gator/Tax Slayer Bowl. But that is a bit strange they don’t bid on more bowls. Was this year the first time the Holiday Bowl was on FS1? I remember that game used to always be on ESPN.

Tuberville was very stale to me. I like Brando, but most of FOX’s crews are horrible. Davis and Quinn were awful on the Foster Farms Bowl. At least during their BCS era they had Vasgersian (very underrated to me) and Brennaman doing the games. I’m sure I’m in the minority, but I like most of the ESPN crews.
