If the Knicks send Knox, Mitchell Robinson, #3, and the next first rounder they can send, then New Orleans should take it.
Take it and fricking run.

I just meant for #3, Robinson, and their first rounder next year.
Knox is just lagniappe bench player.

The crazy thing is, with the saturation of media today, the opposite is true. It used to be you had to go to a major media market to be a huge star and get the big advertising bucks,
But if AD and Zion don’t land with the Lakers, they won’t get guest appearances on Celebrity Family Feud and Black’ish!

think it's mostly just from extremely dumb people
the other option I considered is that it's just pettiness toward anything to do with LeBron, California, Lakers
likely a combo of both

i feel like i have to get this out of the way because people will immediately jump down my throat about it. i am clearly not saying this simply because im a laker fan. ok, so even with mitchell robinson, whose stats are pretty amazing, how much do we trust 20 mins a game and like 15 starts? he seemed to hold up well over the last 8 or so games that he did start, and i was really intrigued with him out of high school and thought he would have been a top 10 pick if he didnt go a really weird after high school route, but i just dont know.
if im NOLA im just waiting/hoping for boston to get involved and if that doesnt happen, im playing the knicks and the lakers off one another

People weren't this mad about the Cavs getting the first overall pick after failing to keep Lebron. It's really bizarre.
This was the pre Twitter faux outrage days though

Yes. Traditional powerhouse Clippers will mark the restoration of order by signing Kevin Durant.

Why is the sports media having a collective meltdown today?
Because 99% of national media in this country is concentrated in New York, Chicago, and LA / San Fran and they don't give a shite about anything but the dirty freaks who live in those cities.

Heard it on ESPN. "If Zion doesn't want to play for New Orleans, he could go back to Duke" Bitch, who the frick said Zion doesn't want to play for New Orleans? YOU don't want him to play for New Orleans. frick the media

There was a day when you needed old-school buttfricks like Mike Lupica to promote your brand and create your mythology. But the days of Joe Namath, Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio are gone (thank God). You can by-pass these asshats and sell your brand straight to the consumer. The ESPNs of the world are stuck in the old paradigm and they don’t like it a bit.

This is the Trump media cycle. Lies and more lies. Mouth breathers eat it up. People get behind fake causes. The other side sees the power of lying and tries it themselves. The country spirals. It transcends politics to sports. People get mad hypocritically when people in sports try to lie to get what they want like Trump. Shrug.

The victim mentality of small market teams is even worse. Why is it so hard to understand that Zion going to the largest city in the country wouldn’t be a better sport story than going to the crappy Pelicans?

dude you have a legit push by the national media to have Zion go back to college to avoid a small market team
when has that EVER happened before?

In a vacuum, Lonzo Ball is the better player than Knox right now. But in reality, Knox has a much higher ceiling whereas Lonzo is basically an extended Rondo who can’t stay on the court and has a nutjob for a dad.

We don't give a damn about your sports stories.
NY is just as if not more likely to ruin Zion than the pels are.

i don't even mind Ball but (a) he doesn't want to come here and (b) he seems to have maxed out (hell his FT% decreased from year 1 when it was at 45%). he'd be a solid 3rd/4th piece
