I'm not so sure about that, I think most know what they are doing from a business sense before they commit to those things.
Not the same thing but didn't posters make the point about Nike losing a ton of business after the Kaepernick deal? As far as I know, they ended up doing fairly well with all of that.

Because a good portion of these players are black, and these millionaire black people are oppressed by the system.

You all don't care about politics in sports. You care about politics you disagree with being in sports.
Not one of you frickers ever had an issue with a racist song written by a racist playing before every sporting event. Talk about propaganda, this was literally only done because leagues were paid to do this as a recruiting tool for the military.
Then someone takes a knee in protest of something you don't even understand, and all of a sudden you whine, "keep politics out of sports".
Not one of you frickers ever had issues with a flag made famous by the KKK being represented all over NASCAR. NASCAR comes out and says they support their black driver and stop bringing a racist flag to events, all hell breaks loose.
How about when a black NBA player has an opinion, it's "shut up and dribble" and he isn't intelligent enough to speak on certain topics. Meanwhile you have political scholars like Jon Voight and some Duck Dynasty idiot on Fox News talking about the Middle East.
So yeah, the issue isn't keep it out. The issue is keep out whatever I disagree with.

Yea they know that they’re doing
Once all this shite gets quiet they’ll stop with it
They know their audience and what demographics spend more on their product
Why it will be interesting the route college goes

ESPN is owned by ABC. Not hard to connect those dots.
Pretty sure it’s owned by Disney, as is ABC

Right. Most of the people on this site come here and have all the same opinions, and think it is somehow representative of America as a whole. Like when the President claimed NASCAR's ratings were going down, which was factually incorrect.
If the NFL didn't fold after Kaepernick took a knee, why would they fold now when more people seem to be open to that cause now then when he took that knee? It makes no sense. Then again, most of the shite spewed on this site when it comes to this kind of stuff doesn't make sense.

It's not politics, it's life.

yet here you are...on a sports forum.

There isn't anything I said in that post that is wrong. I love coming on this site and breaking up the lovefest between all you far right, Trump loving jackasses.
By the way, isn't it kind of ironic all the whining you morons do about politics in sports, on sports boards?

Deeper rooted issues? Like the lack of two-parent, structured households? The lack of accountability? Bringing children into the world when you can’t afford it?
Do you think black people woke up one day & aspired today lead the nation in these metrics lol?
Or that they want to be generationally poor & uneducated?
Clown response.

Right. White people in poor neighborhoods don't do much better in getting educated and not poor. Then you look at how black people got in these neighborhoods, and why these neighborhoods stay poor and uneducated.
Just watched a video recently with a black woman speaking on how money was being taken from a black neighborhood to put into schools of and support a neighboring white community. It's fricking ridiculous.

As a whole? No. That doesn’t excuse the sick acts that go on daily in a place like Chicago or Baltimore.

There’s a large sector of the black community that wants to appear uneducated.
Posted on 7/22/20 at 1:58 pm to landrywasbeast30
Well you saw it on a video so I'm sure it's 100 percent truthful.

Good lord, you’ve continue to prove just how ill informed your are at this stuff. They were making huge strides in those metrics until the Lyndon Johnson presidency where they completely turned.
You really need to work on your critical thinking skills along with your reading comprehension.

There was a study recently comparing upper middle class black girls to upper middle class white girls. Black girls coming from upper middle class slightly outperformed white girls from upper middle class in education and future earnings. sYsTeMaTic RaCisM
