Can tell there are less Big Ten fans on this board. We’ve been dealing with 11 am CST kickoffs for decades.

Yes this should be at the very least a 2:30 game. Horrible

#1 in the land vs #14 and it's a noon Eastern kickoff? Don't understand this at all.

Michigan v Ohio State is always an early game. Some teams don’t have the night game tradition like LSU, but I know it’s hard from some people to understand that.

Fox runs its best game at 11. This is ESPN/ABC trying to beat them in the rating, although they still put Notre Dame-Texas A&M in primetime.

ESPN has started putting better games in the noon slot to compete with Fox's Big Noon kickoff.

Bc modern CFB is a TV show. They’re just trying to spread the good shows out

Yep same with Penn State at WVU

It’s a shame that’s not a night game. Give the fans Friday and all day Saturday to get boozed up.

Having top 25 matchups starting at 11 (or 12 for the majority of this board) is a great problem to have.

Might not be close though. I thought Penn State at WVU should be an evening game but it's a nooner. Oh well

I think its the perfect time for that game.

I’m watching 3 games tomorrow:

1) GOOD- Clemson vs Georgia

2) BETTER- Miami vs Florida

3) BEST- Notre Dame vs A&M

3 great games in perfect order

Couldn’t ask for a better setup

Totally agree. When I was 22, I would’ve been raising hell and would’ve given my left nut for this to be a night game. Now that I’m an old fart, I love the early games, especially when spaced out with other games throughout the day.

If Clemson-Georgia was at 3.30 or 7:30 I would skip it

If Clemson-UGA were at 330pm, Miami vs Florida would be the morning game. I like that its a morning game as well, but I am a little surprised that 1 vs 14 is not in the more prestigious time slot.

Baw be thankful it’s only 11:00am. I’m out on the west coast for work till next week and this bitch starts here at 9:00am. Yes, there are bars open that early, but it’s the principalities. Forcing my hand to wake up early on a Saturday and choose light beers till the sun goes down. It’s turrible.

It's a known fact that the game being completely centered on what TV wants be is game times to conference affiliations is causing attendance to drop. The long term effect of that is less people attending games which means less people become longtime hardcore fans which means you have less people to promote the game to younger people. Youth participation in football, both in PeeWee and High School has fallen off a cliff. So we're in a situation where kids aren't playing and they are far less likely to attend. If you want to slowly choke a sport out making it too expensive and inconvenient for people to enjoy in person is a great way to do it. TV networks DGAF about that since they get none of that money and they are all run by a bunch of Wall Street dickheads who could give two shits about anything other than lining their pockets as quickly as possible.

I agree with a lot of your points, but not sure how a noon kickoff is relevant
