Let me show you why

American country club athletes will follow the money

John Peterson has made 2.4 million in his 6 year career and his highest ever ranking is 129

John Isner has been playing pro for the last 12 seasons in tennis, has been ranked top 30 for the last 9 years, and top 10 for the last 4 years and his prize money is 14 million total

You don't have to be big.
Agassi is 5 11. His 2nd period of excellence came after he became super fit.

Quickness and hand eye coordination.
You have to be in fabulous condition and know how to stroke in ways that don't kill elbow or shoulder.

Apartment complexes and neighborhoods stopped building tennis courts, or tore down the old ones.

That may sound far fetched but I believe it's a big reason.

I don't buy that these guys make a difference.

How many black guys do you see locked and loaded to make an APPEARANCE on the PGA Tour?

And that's with the GOAT being black, cool as all hell, and as marketable as Jordan.

They may not, but Serena has absolutely made a difference on the women’s side of things. It’s amazing how many more black girls there are at junior tennis tournaments now. You can even see the difference on the WTA with players like Sloane, Madison and Taylor Townsend.

But we didn't invent golf. And it's easy to say this right now because we're just money..

But American guys are slaughtering in golf.

On the individual level AND as a collective.

But we do have the PGA Tour, which is where all of the best players want to be. We also have 3 out of the 4 majors.

In tennis, we have one major, and outside of Miami, Indian Wells, and Cincinnati (I think) we don’t have any other major tournaments.

In golf there’s exposure all over the place.

Yep. If you’re on the PGA tour, you’re going to be very well compensated.

The Web is tough (albeit nowhere near as tough to make $ as challengers), but I think twice as many guys make $1 million+ on the PGA Tour a year than they do on the ATP.

Its a joke

132 pro golfers made at least 1 million last year

Only 45 pro tennis players made at least 1 million

If you go to 350k its even worse

268 pro golfers made 350k last year

121 pro tennis players made 350k

Most of the Europeans that end up winning Wimbledon, French Open, Australian Open and US Open with the exception of Nadal have all trained for years in the US like Federer, etc. Some of these guys litterally speak English without an accent

Golf is expensive. Golf is also not 'cool' to the average kid, let alone a black kid. Kids in his neighborhood would probably ridicule him because he wanted to play golf and not basketball or football.

Tiger has never come off as cool as all hell. No idea where that's coming from

Because Walker HS doesn’t have a tennis team.

I could have been known as the best tennis player at my school. That was robbed from me.

One of many reasons I left that town.

I really don't check the NZ press much at all. I've lived primarily in the States since I've been a kid seeing as how my Dad is from Louisiana and I was raised here. But I do hold dual citizenship since I was born there and lived there until I was 6.

The only Mikey I know of that is something of a personality is a DJ - Mikey Havoc. If you are speaking of sports and I'm guessing you are speaking of the All Blacks ......I really don't know, I have not been following them closely at all

I figured a guy from New Zealand who is an LSU and tennis fan would be all over it. I swung and missed

Way more was expected of me than Kev, Yet he still delivered more in college

Kevin never really even played seriously. He walked on to the team, was pretty low level, then became one of the most solid points in the SEC

Dude was a freak athlete in terms of competing in sports. He didnt jump out in terms of raw athletic ability, but he could play every sport well. He is a damn near scratch golfer too, was an excellent basketball player, and from what Rummel guys told me is he should have been the starting QB if roth wasnt such a dud that wanted a running qb only
