No effort, just going through all he motions. I understand they don’t want to get anyone hurt but damn, it’s just two hand touch. Just name them as All Pro and call it a day.

Feels like they should just make a bigger deal out of all the skills competitions, put some money on them (the skills competitions), play for a charity, something like that...

Save the money by not hosting a pro bowl. Disburse saved money to players who make the pro bowl as a bonus.

Game is totally worthless.

Just watched the pick 6 by Darius Leonard, big lineman not even trying to tackle him

If each conference would chip in enough to pay the the winning team $5-$10 million per player for winning, you might be able to incentivize actual full-contact play.

A game full of all-stars playing an actual game of football would be fun.

I remember when they would at least try. This is basically just mailing it in on steroids.

This is stupid. I’d throw the conference championship game if I was playing in it for a chance to win the pro bowl. That’s more than Debo Samuel will make in 5 years

I would not mind seeing the all pro players in a number of skill challenges. Tug of War, swimming, basketball, homerun derby, passing challenges for QBs. Field goal challenge for kickers. Throwing distance challenge. Volleyball on sand.

Add up all points and determine a winning team.

A Lombardi and a ring is enough for any player worth their competitive salt to play hard for.

An exhibition game at full-contact speed is not worth playing unless you compensate the shite out of it in case of injury.

So you want to pay a pro bowler 5 to 10x annual salary to play in a game? But winning a ring would be more important than possibly double what one would make in a career? You’re way off here man

The amount is just a number I throw out there, but if you want a full contact game in which it is All-Star tackling All-Star in which the chance of injury is incredibly high, you will have to compensate the player by paying out the yearly salary x average number of year left that the player would conceivably have left.

So it a player would conceivably have 3 years left (judging by average lifespan of a player at that position) and was being paid $1.1 million already, he would probably need to be paid $3.3 million for the game to play at full-speed.

I’m just telling you the facts you have to overcome to incentivize a player. I’m not saying any of this is feasible. By all accounts, the game is just too dangerous to play at full speed and should be scrapped.

I don’t know why they are even wearing full pads if they aren’t even tackling.

Many of these dudes aren't All-Pro. That's the issue.

It’s an absolute joke.

There’s a shite ton of skill competitions they could do. Which QB can throw the farthest with his feet tied, OL vs DL tug of war, 100 yard potato sack race for RBs, Hail Mary challenge of WRs vs DB jump balls, etc

Make the game flag football

I always feel sorry for the DBs in this game. D line dosent even try to pass rush so they have to run around trying to guard somebody while the QB just waits till they break loose and they get “burned”

So you can't really tell how fat those linemen really are.

I wish the players cared as much about their health when leaving strip clubs at 2am as they do playing in the Pro Bowl.
