Don’t hate him at all, just think it’s hilarious that Lsu fans treat him like he’s Walter Payton when he never did anything in a big moment. He’s over rated and had one of the biggest let down careers if anyone I can remember.

The dude just had 1000 yards as a rookie while missing something like 3 games. This is laughable. No one is claiming he’s the best RB in the game yet.

Because he’s a terrible running back. Is that the response you’re looking for?

He's a gifted RB. I always thought he'd make a great LB.

Fournette’s big thing is if he gets second level running full steam he is about as big a nightmare as you can have. 230 pounds that can outrun dbs. However he is not super shifty in the backfield or in traffic. The game plan would be to bottle him up.

Is it a balance issue?
As I biased LSU fan, I see what you are saying. And I agree he does go down easily. But I truly think that once he isnt zoned in on and has better talent around him, his production will go up. Oh and he’s like 22. But I know you arent arguing production, Im telling that to the other people. Fournette will have a solid arse career.

Maybe one day he can be as good as Henry.

Probably not.

Henry is everything LSU fans wanted LF7 to be.

Unfortunately he had no passing game to help move the defence while at LSU or the NFL.

Hmm Kamara seemed to go down pretty easy today. Why?

Let me try:

Henry:

Led his university to the National Championship.

Won the Heisman.

Broke the SEC rushing record.

Most all time yards rushing in HS.

Running roughshod over NFL defenders.

Universally respected as a physical freak.

Great ambassador for his university.

LF7:

All those same things, except no championships, no Heisman, and no records.

On the other hand take a guy like Kamara who seems very hard to bring down at times, working his way through people.

LSU and Saints fan here.

We saw even at LSU that Fournette lacks a lot of shifty moves, he can be stiff. If he gets a lane he runs like he's shot out of a cannon. If he gets past the line he's a nightmare for the secondary, and if he's running a linebacker has to get a solid hit to bring him down.

I didn't realize how good Kamara was, and that's saying something because I DID think he was good, and I really liked the draft pick. Kamara is smooth and extremely fluid, and it's hard to square up on him. He got boxed in behind the lines a few times today, but 1 guy rarely gets him.

Damn Deion is calling Leonard out, speculating he’s probably tired from the first year of a longer season

He's in the big leagues now

Funny Note Today - My 11 yr old son said "Fournette doesn't look so big anymore" ha ha That's because all of the NFL is big Jr.
