Hoopers are constantly processing information up and down the court. rapid pace. quick thinking dude. dumb ppl can't do that
I don't think you want to compare the IQ's of either the players or fans of these two sports. Especially yours.

Because football is so slow, drunk Americans can chit chat and get on their phones in between plays while still rambling off enough platitudes where they can fool themselves into pretending to have a clue about what’s going on.

Basketball is too fast a game for casual fans.

I have 2 theories

1. Since your favorite football team only plays once a week and only 12-18 times a year the games are a bigger deal and mean more

2. Most people weren’t skilled enough to play high school basketball but since a high school football team needs like 20 people to be competitive almost anyone who weighs over 100lbs can make the team

These are also true statements.

Fat white people typically hate pro basketball.

I don't think this works

Everyone played basketball the way it's supposed to be played, only some played organized football. Plenty of us growing up were ballin out white kids who could legitimately shoot and play pick up basketball but couldn't sniff a HS team, be it for size or simply because almost every plays and the teams are small.

Honestly, I think on a pure experience level basketball is the most relatable sport to the average guy.

Also many football positions don’t really require skill just athleticism or size
