Atlanta, on its worst day, isn't even close to the shittiness that is NO and Louisiana in general. Atlanta is beautiful.

Few years ago, I was out in Buckhead, they were trying to be the French Quarter so bad. They were even handing out the cheap Mardi Gras beads at the doors of some bars… Laughed and told the dude no thanks..

Meanwhile, in Atlanta…

I’m sure it will be worse now with Mariota calling the signals since Ryan was run out on a rail.

But keep enjoying those $2 hotdogs.

Like what exactly? The dome is fine as it is

Just like I thought. Every time the Final Four is held in a NFL stadium, all the players sit below the court.

The Superdome is like a washing machine from the 1960s. It needs repairs and maintenance but with repairs it still works today.

Whereas the Georgia Dome was like a washing machine from more current times, built like crap, probably with Chinese labor, and needs to be replaced way too quickly.

Does the Superdome have all the top of lines bells and whistles? No it does not. And yet, it sells out for major events all the time.

Maybe in a city like Atlanta, which has no soul, people need to go to the football stadium to get culture and food and social life.

Here in NOLA, we go to the sports stadium to watch the sporting event. We then go to our many nearby fine places to enjoy our culture, food, and social life.

These events continue to be held in NOLA because it's the total package. Most fans don't just come for the game and go home.

what bells and whistles does the superdome really "need"? what makes it so much worse than jerry world or the stadium in atlanta?

i've been to games in all three and i think the superdome is most conducive to a fun, big game atmosphere... by a pretty wide margin

Hope that clears that up for ya

Took me a second to figure out STH was season ticket holders but thanks

I’m glad the Braves stayed in the area and didn’t move to Vegas or Charlotte or something, I thought Turner Field was fine but obviously there were other issues. I appreciate the discussion nice to have a normal conversation beyond the “your city sucks” comments
