I don’t hate them. I’m just a little bored with them. I’d like to see a different team win the SB. I’ve never liked Philly much, but they’re a more interesting story.

I don’t remember people hating on Brady and the Patriots THIS much, and they received WAY more carries by the Refs
I think it’s because the refs clearly protected Brady, but it didn’t extend to the entire team like it does with the Chiefs.
For example, 74 lines up too deep every play and then false starts. It’s so common it’s become a joke at this point.
Even something as simple as a delay of game call shows bias.

Yeah those early 1950s Yankee teams that won the World Series 5 straight years may be my favorite sports teams of all time, but people hate them because they were 5-1 against those Brooklyn Dodger teams that are romanticized by history and literature but the fact of the matter is they were inferior to those Yankee teams that beat them like a yard dog.

i don't hate the chiefs but i also don't not hate the chiefs....
i think its what someone said above. they're really good, but we like straight up competition and man some of these calls are hard to overlook.

Liberals hate the Chiefs because from the owners to the players to the fans they are the most MAGA sports organization in America. Butker sent them over the edge.
Stupid conservatives hate the Chiefs bc of Taylor, missing the entire forest for the trees.
Casual to die hard sports fans hate the Chiefs out of jealousy

Why do Americans have such a problem with this?
Why do Americans hate the frontrunner?
I've never understood that.
If anything, you congratulate the winner -- they earned it, mostly anyways (I mean true, there's luck and perhaps some bias involved) and when your team wins, you celebrate them winning.
Why does everyone decide to be so miserable after of all things, a sporting event?

1) Inconsistent officiating in their games
2) Their two big stars have moments that make them really unlikeable. In mahommes case I don’t think he’s a bad guy at heart, there’s just times he seems like a whiny bitch. Kelce just looks like an immature douche most of the time.
3) Fatigue of them being constantly successful

Multitude of reasons..
1. Mahomes wife and brother acting obnoxious.
2. Travis and Taylor.
3. Showing Taylor during football games.
4. Someone talking about carbon footprint yet takes a private jet from Tokyo to the Super Bowl and back just because they can but how dare you drive a gas vehicle.
5. Refs seem to make ever game deciding call for the chiefs.

Best player in the league and quickly working his way to best of all time and never has a bad thing to say, gives his teammates tons of credit, has had the same girlfriend since high school, seems like a normal sports loving dude. People are just mad he beats their teams arse
And I’m not a Mahomes “fan” I just have respect for the guy. He’s a baller

We didn't use to. I think the fact that casual Americans hate the Chiefs is because of the feminization our culture has suffered. People now want to be "equitable". Call it the Karen Bassinization of America.
Rooting for the Chiefs to 3-peat is embracing masculinity. Pretend that Pat is MJ, because he is. He's actually a much much much better person than MJ.

He and Tom Brady are both outstanding men. Pat even more so than Tom because he's had to navigate his parents divorce, his dad's arrest, and his brother's and wife's immature antics. He's never stumbled. Nothing but love and respect for that guy from me

The chiefs are powerless over all of this. And I was a Travis Kelce hater but he went out of his way to stay neutral in this past election and had a rebound season. I am cool with him now. 99% of guys in his situation would have endorsed Carmela Harris after his billionaire GF did. He didn't even like her post.

Kelce is the main thing. And just gets old seeing the same team sneak by every week and every year.

What's specifically your problem with Travis Kelce though? You can be annoyed with his GF or his brother but I don't see that he's done anything controversial for well over a year
