Why do people on here HATE Tiger so much?

I don't get it. He is one of the most transcendent athletes of our lifetime! Why do people love to hate him so much, has he won too much money, too many tournaments, banged too many sloots? I'm not trying to say I'm in love with the guy, but all i know is that when he wins, business is good and I like when business is good!

I'll never understand it. I hope it's not race related, I'm not saying it is, I just hope it isn't.

I love watching Tiger play. I love watching any dominant athlete play.
I think the hate for Tiger comes from what some people perceive as cockiness. I have never had a problem with his competitiveness showing on the course because he has always backed it up with results. There are some people out there who think athletes should always be humble and never rub in that they're always winning, but that's never been my opinion if it is warranted, as it is in Tiger's case.
TL;DR version: Some people just can't stand watching other people succeed and be happy about it.

Never hated him, but there was a point where I was tired of hearing about him even if he wasn't up there on the leader board or even playing. You could have some other player going off, but there's always time for Tiger.

Love watching Tiger play...once in a lifetime type of athelete. I like the possibilities of what his next greatest shot is going to be and wonder in amazement how he pulls those types of shots off. People hate Tiger because they want to see the great ones fall and never recover. Not this guy, go for 18!

I like Tiger a lot. But I think he suffers from Brett Favre or Tim Tebow media coverage exhaustion syndrome from sports fans.

He has won more than any other active golfer could ever dream of winning. He earned that kind of talk....i agree with you that it got old, but at least it isn't Danica Patrick type hype.
