Why did CP3 think it was a good idea to foul Giannis on the alley-oop?

That foul arguably sealed the game by not allowing the Suns a chance to tie the game and send it to overtime. Horrible turnover by Booker obviously led to the sequence, but that foul was inexcusable.

if he fouls him hard enough to make him miss then Giannis probably doinks AT LEAST 1 of those

but yeah, he was wayyy late and probably never expected Jrue to throw a lob with the clock on his side

But that’s not what happened because Giannis missed the ft so I guess you don’t actually know what you’re talking about.

Very bad since he was nowhere close enough to actually effect him.

I mean I kind of get it though. You are risking Giannis getting an And 1, where he has been clanking all night. But the reward is possibly stopping an automatic 2 points and making Giannis earn them from the line. Not the worst decision tbh. Especially considering Giannis missed the FT (but of course they got the offensive board)

If he's close enough to actually impede Giannis it makes a ton of sense but he wasn't close enough.

Hey there, if CP3 doesn’t commit that foul, the Suns have the ball down three with thirteen seconds left, meaning they have a chance to tie the game. That’s the “arguably” part of my post. Doesn’t matter what happened with the free throw, because I’m not talking about that free throw, I’m talking about the foul that led to the free throw. Happy to clear that up for you!

I kind of get it, but Giannis was clearly in the air by the time CP3 got there. Could have been called a flagrant foul had Giannis come down wrong. Best thing to do is let him make the alley, because in that case you are guaranteed a chance to send the game to overtime. Shouldn’t rely on opposing players missing free throws when you don’t have to.

Giannis is an absolute tank trunk. He's way too strong. Anything short of tackling him in mid-air, Giannis was not missing that dunk.

Just not thinking like he's been doing the whole series, and that's disappionting for such a veteran player. Smh

CP3 best and only shot at a championship and he's just killing his chances. After his game 4 he probably choked his chances away.

Dude, they've played bad, choked basketball thses last 3 games. They should have won the last game in Milwaukee and choked it away, they would have been up 3-1 on the Bucks. This is embarrassing because I don't feel like Milwaukee has won this ring if they win it, more like PHX choked it away. SMH

He’s the greatest player to be such a loser in recent American sports history. Certainly of my lifetime. He’s like if Peyton Manning had never won a Super Bowl and had only gotten to 1

Really?? What game did you watch, I watched the one where PHX started off like they was gonna blow out Milwuakee, then let'em back in the game and fell behind by playing bad ball. Then they came on strong at the end when they should have played like that the whole game, then they had a chance to win it when both Booker and CP3 did stupid things at the end to give it away like they've been doing most of this series. That's the game I saw, I don't know what the hell you saw.

What a petty thing to say, especially after Giannis just got done giving the business to your team all game
