San Antonio makes great sense. Its a booming market in a football crazy state. If San Diego isn't the first choice, then San Antonio should absolutely considered.
100% correct.
Now if only we could get our fricking city "leadership" to make a serious effort to pursue a franchise instead of figuring out how to ban Chick-fil-A from our airport

You are not adding Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange etc bro It would dwarf San Antonio
Again, have we forgot how many pro teams have moved in California? Their population means absolutely squat when considering professional sports.

The NFL owners and Goodell need for force the Spanos hand, either move back to SD and get a stadium deal, or sell to new owners that will do such.
They are not gonna be LA's team, that is for the Rams, and even they are hoping old-school Raider fandom in the greater metro dies off..doubtful now that they become the LV Raiders.
Goodell and the Spanos are gonna slowplay this, and their pitiful LA fanbase will not be any better in Kroenke's new stadium in the years to come. Big mistake, wasted time.
Spanos needs to go back to SD, hat in hand, kiss and make up, play in front of crowds until they can get their version of a Petco done..even Al Davis Sr did with Oakland.

Agreed on all counts.

I think the biggest piece to this that is overlooked is the players for the Chargers. How fair is this for them? Playing 16 road games a year is ridiculous. I don't care what anybody says, that's not good for them or the NFL. Quality players will just stop playing there all together. This is a mega disaster for the NFL. They have to move with quickness on this IMO. The longer they wait, the worse this will become.

Jerry Jones will never let another NFL team into Texas. Another team in Texas waters down that Cowgirl brand.

The big reason? Not a lot of corporate money there to be buying suites, company tickets, doing sponsorships, etc.
and who is your owner/bidder?

Jerry's got an accurate read on the situation. He has plenty of faults as an owner, but he's not stupid when it comes to the business side. San Antonio is a diehard Cowboys market, BUT....just one look at the Spurs/mavs rivalry lets you know how that football fandom would be fractured.
We fricking hate the mavs, despite so many Spurs fans also being loyal to the Cowboys.

Alamodome is too small

to be fair 99% of austin wouldnt give a shite about a San Antonio Chargers either

Wrong. The Alamodome is bigger than the Bills, Jaguars, Seahawks, or Browns' stadiums.
Plus, we'd almost certainly be building a new stadium, so it's not like the Alamodome wouldn't be immediately viable in the short term.

Because LA Chargers worth more than San Antonio Chargers.
Chargers owners are hoping to keep San Diego fan base and expand in LA market at the same time. San Diego fan can drive to LA to fill the stadium.
I think it works because a lot San Diego Chargers fan said they would not watch any Chargers game anymore. But when season started, they still arrange their weekends around Chargers games.
As a Patriots fan, I still think Chargers sucks!

San Anton is such old news to him. He considers that just wasted time, and is happy to finally be around talented Europeans

Your big arse? Naaa only if I get a weapon, I may play dumb but I ain't stupid
But I made my first trip to SLC earlier this year and really enjoyed it. With the way they support the Jazz coupled with the support for both CFB football teams, I bet NFL would do well.

The Chargers have been those counties team since forever so what you posted makes not one bit of sense
Add in Tijuana market and it destroys San Antonio
If they could vote on the Stadium it would have passed but they cant so the soyboys won
