Randle was being compared to Randolph out of Kentucky. Randle was by far the best rebounder/put back I had seen at UK for his size.

I can't tell this is an LSU message board. Nope not at all.

Going to be pages and pages of debate between a bunch of message board losers over whether he should go number one or not.
Meanwhile, Ben is going to sign a shoe deal, and either the first or second pick will get him and he will excel. Ingram most likely also excels. Nothing you mouth breathers say is going to make it to the next front office meeting for the Lakers or Sixers

Simmons hs all the potential in the world but if he doesn't have the drive he will never realize it.
If I had the number one pic I'd take bender I think when it's all said and done the kid from UK will be the best one out if this draft, he's a taller more athletic Brandon roy

The commies have made it to the msb board.
I like how says none of our opinions matter cuz we're not in draft rooms for those team
welp I think Chicken should just shut down this site then. What percentage of us played pro ball to say ANYTHING about a player?

Lots of silliness in here.
Simmons is an athlete without basketball skills?
that's the smartest thing you've said in this thread.
Simmons's stock is lower this week than it's really ever been.
Stats and measurables are one thing, the eye test is another.
He's a very skilled player(passing big men are) but he might have the disposition of a complimentary player.
The blame lies both on Jones and Simmons...and yes he's probably right handed based of the SN graph.

Look... Will Ben get drafted by the sixes and they all of a sudden win 30 games??? No way. Will he do for the same for the lakers no way. He will be a decent player on those teams. Now if he somehow ends up on a team with decent talent he could do very well. He will never be a team leader like a magic or a bird or a lebron.

I agree with this. He needs an alpha to feed him and take the pressure off him. I dont think (unless something changes in his attitude) he'll be a number 1 guy to lead a team to the promised land.
Needs a guy like Westbrook imo.

when he breaks into the league, i agree. A few years down the line will be a different story.

This could happen Lester. He needs to put himself to be feared by other teams. In a few years who knows. But that won't happen going to the slxers.

i have no clue what you are trying to say, PJ

I was not impressed, seemed like a big pussy to me... Maybe he was sandbagging but I don't see how he will be a good NBA player. I've never seen any of the great ones go through stretches of not scoring for 10-20 minutes. I concur, Seems like he has no competitive fire. Good riddance, I'll take a Verne singleton everyday over Ben Simmons
