I remember them having thicker skin and refusing to engage in drama and shite talking when I was younger.

Now they lean into it and want to talk shite to anyone who “disrespects them”. It’s really easy to get in their nerves and get a rise out of them.

Old school coaches were so much stronger and tougher. They refused to be petty and engage in the drama.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you on the soft part, but if I disrespected a coach when I played, I got my arse chewed out like nothing you’ll see today…and so did everyone else. Didn’t take much to get on my coaches nerves

I’m talking about when a coach from another team or an ESPN commentator says something and your coach takes it personally and responds to it on TV like a vagina.

Ryan Day getting all offended by what Lou Holtz said a couple of years ago is a great example of it. Day looked like a complete vagina calling out Holtz and saying shame on him after the game.

Who gives a shite what an old 85-year old dipshit like Lou Holtz has to say about you and your team?Just ignore him and don’t meltdown on national TV about it.
