Seeing that the trainer for Orb is a Horse Racing Hall of Fame member but hadn't had a horse run in the Kentucky Derby in 23 years, and had never won it, makes me wonder what he did to get in the HoF.

Supporters of gun control should be banned from any sort of HOF IMO.

George "High Pockets" Kelly in baseball. A 109 OPS+ for a first baseman is mediocre at best. B-Ref Page Really, you can pick any Hall of Famer selected by the Veteran's Committee under Frankie Frisch. He pretty much inducted every above average teammate he played with.

Actually, while their selection is famously bad, I think you can justify each of those selections, particularly Frank Chance. They are't the strongest guys in the Hall, obviously, but the Cubs had the best record of any team ever. not only that, they have the best 2 year and 3 year record and so on until I think you hit 10 years. The 1900s Cubs team is arguably the most successful team in baseball history, so putting their infield in the Hall of Fame is hardly an abomination.
ETA: And Frank Chance was considered their best player and he was the field manager (he was called Peerless Leader). Even if he got inducted solely as a manager, I'd be okay with it
People suggesting things like Namath are crazy. Look, I think Namath is a bad selection, but if you think Namath is the worst person in the Hall of Fame, you are essentially arguing that Halls of Fame do an outstanding job of selection. If your biggest mistake is JOE NAMATH, you're doing a fantastic job.

Snake should be in as well. Similar stats, 1 SB.

Rickey Jackson, hands down the least deserving.

50 percent completion percentage
37 more INTs than TDs
Career losing record
Two playoff appearances
HE DOESN'T BELONG

Wasn't it already reached?

Bob Costas is in any kind of HoF, he's automatically the worst/shittiest person in that collection.

Don Drysdale was pretty bad in baseball. Compare his accomplishments to Bob Welch, for example.

Phil Knight from Nike in the NBA HOF. Dumbest inductee ever.

Look, i agree Namath shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame. But worst selection ever? Dial it down. You are arguing that the worst selection, of any Hall of Fame, is a QB who was truly iconic and played into the narrative of creating the modern NFL. He gtes tons of bonus points for that.
He also won two MVPs, made six Pro Bowls, and lead the league in passing yards three times. His closest statistical comp is Ken Anderson, a guy some people have argued to be in the Hall.
I don't think he belongs, but worst selection ever? If he's the worst selection ever, then the Halls have done a terrific job of selections. Which they haven't, because he's not.

Compare his stats to his contemporaries. The rules and game were very different. Record is a team stat and they had fewer teams make the playoffs back then so compare apples to apples and try not to use current standards because those can change.
I'm not sure if he belongs, but Baloo is right, if that's the "worst" pick, then they are doing alright.
One name that comes to my mind is Rollie Massimino. Seems like he is in because of one, historic upset.

And yet, I can't think of anyone less deserving. Maybe Lynn Swann. MAYBE.
Maybe Bill Parcells: Mr. "I buy the groceries but the only reason I won the Super Bowl was because I INHERITED Lawrence Taylor, Phil Simms, and Harry Carson"
