If your picking Astros pitchers JR Richard is at the top of the list ...period!

Nobody thinks of those guys as Astros pitchers first and foremost.
Admittedly biased but verlander has just as much history with the Astros when all said and done.
2/3 of his cy youngs.
Both of his World Series championships.
His first career 300 strikeout season
2/4 times he led the AL in wins
1/2 times he led the league in ERa
1/3 no hitters
It will be interesting what hat he chooses for cooperstown.

Of those three, I think you have to go with the Red Sox. What Pedro was doing at the height of the steroid era is greatly overlooked.
Braves have a case too as others have said.

That’s what I assumed this would be about, greatest rotation on the same team

Cardinals: Cy Young (Perfectos), Grover Cleveland Alexander, Dizzy Dean, Gibson, Carpenter
Could’ve had Carlton in that rotation (fn Gussie)

Tudor was a favorite of mine growing up and finished his STL career with over a 70% winning percentage and an ERA of around 2.4. A largely forgotten player
And that’s really unfortunate, because I too enjoyed watching him pitch. However, he had two chances to clinch the WS yet spit the bit.

Astros could go Clemens Verlander Greinke Johnson Ryan This would leave some horses left out too.
I’d downvote this twice if I could
Ryan
Scott
Larry D
Verlander
Roy O
You could add Framber, JR Richard to this list too.

Whom, in your opinion
Subjective childhood fandom opinion?
People are just taking their favorite team and trying to fashion a plausible argument.

Interestingly, the guy who had the best overall career of the 4, Palmer, was the last of the group to get to 20.
