Who will be Nebraska’s next head coach?

These are the names I’m hearing. Rumor is that their top target is someone who’s not currently coaching.
Urban Meyer
Matt Rhule
Bill O'Brien
Tom Herman
Matt Campbell
Troy Calhoun
Jamey Chadwell
Hugh Freeze (highly doubtful we'll even reach out to him)
Brett Bielema
Kyle Whittingham
Chris Klieman
Dan Mullen
Kendall Briles
Ed Orgeron (I personally wouldn't want him as HC, but possibly DC for his recruiting ability)

Why not bring back Bo? He did a nice job there. These rest of those guys would be taking a step down or are unrealistic.

Mickey Joseph is interim HC, but barring a monumental turnaround, I don’t think he’s in serious consideration. Sad, because not sure he’ll want to be demoted back to a coordinator position once the hire is made.

Then you’d want a defensive minded HC because you do not want O as a DC
