Williams did suffer from very little media coverage. I didn't hear about the kid until a few weeks ago.

Part of it was because he was having a very good season until three weeks ago, but nothing exceptional. Then he rushed for something like 850 yards in the next 3 games.

Jameis Winston
McCarron never had it in the bag, because Winston does.

How many of the ballots were already turned in before the last couple of weeks?

I just think a lot of voters will leave Winston off their ballots.
If not, we could see the very real possibility of the Heisman going to a guy who won't show up because he's under indictment. The past month has been very weird.

Would have to agree, Lynch. Or with another poster Peyton Manning, I mean Charles Woodson beat him out for it, really?

If we're judging by on-field results, Winston.
If we're judging by Heisman criteria, A.J. McCarron. This will turn into a lifetime achievement award. Too many people will run away from Winston, McCarron should lock down the southern bloc and the Auburn loss won't be held against him. Miller, Williams, Lynch, Boyd et al will split all the other votes.

Yeah, I agree. Besides, if you decide to strip Reggie Bush's Heisman, how do you vote for a guy who could be convicted of sexual assault? That doesn't compute.

Chris Davis.
According to voters now, a Heisman moment is important. That was a Heisman moment if I ever saw one.

Because this is America and you're innocent until proven guilty?

Some voters won't vote for him. But it won't matter. He will have so many first place votes it won't be close.

Hyde would win if he didn't get suspended and got more carries. He has put up video game numbers.
(This is assuming a scenario where Winston wouldn't win due to the scandal, but I think he will still win.)

I'm perfectly fine with that.

Assuming Winston isn't charged before the ceremony, he should win it hands down, IMO. He's by far been the best and most consistent. However, the Heisman is a fricking joke like everything else that ESPN has ruined, so who really knows?
