Of the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL who do you think is the worst pro sports franchise in North America over the last 5 years?

I think it comes down to the Edmonton Oilers vs Houston Astros

Oilers - (finished: 30th, 30th, 29th, 24th and 28th) They've had 3 first overall draft picks and are currently sitting 29th this year Average finish: 28.2/30

Astros - (finished: 22nd, 30th, 30th, 30th and 26th ) Average finish: 27.6/30

the 76ers have made the playoffs TWICE in the last five years. it's definitely not them.

Pelicans - finished: 19th, 11th, 27th, 25th and 20th. Currently 15th. Average 20.4/30

76ers - finished: 24th, 15th, 16th, 19th and 29th. Currently: 27th. Average 20.6/30

The NBA has actually had a lot of parity for who is the worst

Lots of NBA futility within the last 5 years for sure.

Kings
Timberwolves (missed playoffs since 2004)
Suns
Cavs
Pistons

if you're not making the playoffs it's all the same... whether you're winning 15 or 40 in the NBA or 2 or 7 in football...

Jags - 16th, 25th, 31st, 29th and 29th
Average - 26/32

I thought Jacksonville would be a lot worse actually

Seems like over the last 5 years most teams have one decent season that messes up their entire rankings

winning record in 2009...astros go us beat, as indicated by them having the opportunity to let bryant slip to us.

Damn I'm dumb. I think the point stands, but 2009, is outside the window. Leaving it there for my own shame.
