A human could actually beat a horse in a longer distance race. Not over anything shorter than a half marathon type distance though.

As for this 40, an in-shape Jacoby Ford should walk away from everyone. Tyreek might put up a fight, but Ford was a legit NCAA champ at 60m.

I know both of them are out or nearly out of the NFL but I would like to see Darius Heyward-Bey and Tavon Austin in this thing

Winner will partially depend on who trains to try and run their fastest. Most of those guy's NFL playing weight is 10 to 20 lbs heavier than their ideal track speed weight.

Tyreek Hill is the fastest player I've ever seen in pads.

Maybe. I like that players are doing things like this.

Same. It's just fun. That's what sports are supposed to be at the end of the day.

Yep.

Its incredible watching him run in full pads in a game. Fastest player ever in a game scenario IMO.

He would've been an elite international track star if he went to a real track program for college and trained for it properly:

quote:

NEW YORK CITY (May 30, 2012)—Tyreek Hill, who last weekend set the track world on fire with a scorching double of 10.19 at 100 meters and 20.14 for 200 meters at the Golden South Classic, will compete in the adidas Dream 100 at the adidas Grand Prix on June 9, organizers have announced.

Both times lead the nation this year, and Hill’s 200-meter clocking catapults him to #2 on the all-time U.S. high school list, just 1/100th of a second off the national prep record of 20.13 set by Roy Martin in 1985.

Yeah he is a burner of the highest degree and a favorite if we did this for real.

But nobody is walking away from Tyreek Hill or Donte Jackson.

I think it would be better if they did a 60 yard dash or something. We already have 40 times from the combine on most of these guys anyway.

His ability to go from 0 to 100 is truly remarkable. Unfortunately he’s a POS.

John Ross might be capable of beating them, if he was racing.

Prime Darrent Williams (RIP) would also be tops in the NFL.
