Euro League Champion
Italian League Champion
2X FIBA AmeriCup Gold Medalist
4x NBA Champion
2004 Olympic Gold Medalist (beat USA)

Manu Ginobili

The only other player in consideration Dirk Nowintzki, as there are several others that didn't play much international ball. But, even Dirk's international awards come from what he has done in the NBA.

Dirk, as well as players like Olajuwon, certainly has more NBA awards and recognition, but I'd argue that Manu did it all over the world times over.

Oscar is generally considered the best international player.

show me the awards

I don't disagree that he was an amazing player and one of the best ever, but did he do it like Manu? Or, did he do all of his winning in the USA?

I'd say Manu had the best international career. He is a hall of famer even if he never played in the NBA.

I get it.

He could have had a career like Melo.

But, who will remember Melo?

Manu may have the best resume

But nobody is taking any international player over peak Dirk, IMO.

It’s sort of crazy to me that he was only a 2x all star, but then I think about the small rosters and I guess it’s not that crazy.

This isn’t my answer but one of my favorite sportscenter lines:
He’s not my Vydas, he’s not your Vydas, he’s Arvydas.

My favorite player of all time but imo “international” is a player that started outside the US and came to the NBA. Hakeem mostly developed here, he’s foreign born but not an “international” player imo.
