I play about 3 days out of the week during the summer. I play Peak One Course in Frisco, Dillon Lake course near Keystone, and Arapaho basins course.

Here’s some of my favorite holes:

I play and am part of a few local clubs

If you have Facebook, look up Baton Rouge Disc Golf. We post events and news around the area

Had my first ace chain out today. 220ish ft par 3 with a buzzz. Threw it on some hizer and it skimmed off the front of the chains after dropping perfectly underneath the guardian tree to the right of the basket. The roller coaster of emotions was something

Nice shot! BUZZZ is a great disc. ROC3 gets you a little more distant, ZONE gets you a little more hyzer

I’ve played for 15yrs. Never had an ace

So many close calls that it’s brutal I have not had one fall

At highland Rd park:

I’ve hit the basket on 1P, 3G, 4P, 5P, 6P, 8P, 9P, 9G, 11P, 11G, 12P, 12G, 13P, 13G, 16P, 17P, and 18P

I’ve stuck one into the side of the basket back when that didn’t count as an ace

But who’s counting…. LOL

I like zone a lot. Had a nice translucent tie die one I left on the course one day that I’m still salty about losing. Replaced it with a discmania tactic which is good as well. Just not my zone.

I like the control I get with the buzzz a lot. That and the Inca by infinite have become my favorite discs.

Dude that’s brutal. Had a buddy that played for 6/7 years before getting one alittle earlier this year. Same thing, had them chain out all over the place. I was with him for one of them and I don’t know how the thing didn’t stay in the basket.

Playing this up coming Sunday in NOVA. My go to off the tee is a Diamond. I'm a forehand thrower and have more control with it.

And frick off Seeek.

Now that you’re done telling us about yourself what do you have to contribute to the thread?

I’m primarily backhand

Throw 167g Captain for max flex distance, 171g Ballista Pro for long hyzers

I do throw forehand when the hole demands it

My go to forehand disc is a 173g Calvin Heimberg halo destroyer. I have a couple other star destroyers that fly really well on my forehand

My buddies use it for cardio and run the course between shots, live in a high elevation so it’s fun and doesn’t seem like cardio. We actually played a tourney and did pretty well but was fun!

At highland Rd park:

Should have played more at Greenwood, especially the front 9 was an ace magnet.

The friends that I play with at home don't count a sub 200ft ace if you can see the basket from the tee which would discount the 4 aces I had a Greenwood but I count anything that is tee to basket.

Greenwood the course by the zoo?

We’ve got 15-20 each coming to our tournament (in Mobile) this weekend from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida.

Always try to get a few players to bring some boudin to put on the grill with the rest of the food.

Only ever ace was Highland Rd. Park hole 5.

I've only played twice since moving to TN, but there's a 9-hole course right by my house I need to get to more often.

There is a new course in Denham Springs. I drover around it yesterday. It isn't a beautiful course, but close enough for practise rounds.
