Oregon has better wins and a better SoS overall than Bama.

Neither has beaten an impressive team.

And the Oregon/Utah love is a bit puzzling considering they're beating a PAC 12 that was determined to be weak after the non conference games.

OU hasn’t really beaten anyone either. It’s really your loss was worse. OU looks like it lost its defense again.

Also, the PACs out of conference record is better than so thought it would be.

Hate to ask this and dont want to ask on the rant, but what happens if LSU loses the SEC CG by a single score? What happens if they lose by 2 or 3 scores?

I hate the idea of us NEEDING to win the SECCG - seems maddening unfair.

LSU is in if they win out and lose in the CCG.

Who’s in front of UO and Utah besides OU. Georgia already is? Minny have a chance.

This isn't the lock people think it is, the more these teams play the more those current top ten wins turn into top 20 wins and look a little less impressive. It would take like an Oregon blowout of Utah in the CCG to force the committee's hand. It's not a lock.

I think all 1 loss conference winners have a legitimate chance.

If Utah, Oklahoma, Baylor, and Oregon meet with one loss each in the CCG, its gonna be wild.

LSU would still have the best resume in the country. It’s a lock

Then they'll say common opponents. Oregon lost to Auburn at a "Neutral Site". Bama beat Auburn at Auburn. Bama's loss is to the #1 team by 5 points.

Like I said, they can twist it however they choose to put the 4 teams in that they want.

Bama won’t get in over a 1 loss Oregon with a win over Utah.

Agreed. They would have by far the most impressive 1 loss resume and it wouldn't even close.

Minnesota's best win before Penn State was Illinois. Followed by Purdue.

If OSU or Penn state was undefeated against those same teams they would have been in the top 10 sooner.

Because....the name.
