It will come down to how they look against Auburn. I think they have to throttle them a la tOSU did against Wisconsin.

Nobody is keeping Oklahoma out if they win out. Every year they lose a game and every year people say they arent getting in and they do.

Oklahoma is going to lose a game the way they’re playing.

Bama.

They will remain there until championship weekend, then be jumped by #5 Oregon or #6 Utah

I don’t understand why penn st can be #4 while undefeated in the big10 but Minnesota can’t be #4 while undefeated in the big 10 and beating the previous #4

OU won’t lose to Baylor. Don’t see TCU or Okie St beating them

You forget the Big 12 is trash

Bama would beat every team on that list by 2 TD's except Georgia.

They'd beat Minnesota by 4 TD's.

Minnesota's best win before Penn State was Illinois. Followed by Purdue.

Penn State at least beat Michigan and Iowa.

The lack of quality defense among top teams is disturbing this year. It seems to be what potentially separates Ohio State from the pack (at least for now). Their defense seems more likely to get stops than the other top contenders.

If Ohio State runs the table, Minnesota will be left out.

At this point, the only team I see preventing Alabama from making the playoff is Oregon.

And it's not even close. Defense has been lights out.

Alabama is not getting into the playoffs against any 1 loss champion.....period. If Baylor losses to Ou then beats them in the championship game Baylor will have a better win than anything that bama has, same goes for Utah and Oregon as a 1 loss PAC-12 champ.

If Georgia beats Auburn and Bama beats Auburn, Bama’ best win is against a 3-4 loss A&M or 4 loss Auburn. Every team will have a better win than Bama, plus be a conference champion.

Bama is probably #4 in the next CFP rankings, and they might even stay there for a while, but it's fool's gold.

However, just like in 2014 when TCU was #3 in the week before the last ranking, once the results on the conference championship games come in, that will change.

When teams actually now have a 1 loss championship, in either the Pac-12 or Big 12, they will take Bama's spot.

this guy gets it. They'll be 4 tomorrow, and people will freak out. But reality is they're just holding someone's spot unless chaos ensues
