And how is their QB on the Heisman mention ballots. Big Ten champ does not deserve a spot in the playoff this year from what I've seen.

Look up his stats
Barrett has the 3rd highest QB rating in the country. Having a comparable year to Jameis last year so far
Also compare Barrett to the leading Heisman runner, Dak
Dak has better rushing numbers (576 rushing yards, and 8 touchdowns) but they are about even. Barrett has more total touchdowns and yards

He needs to steal some crab legs and get accused of rape and he's well on his way.

You do when it's all you have. I enjoy when other B1G teams do well, we just don't get to the point of dropping to our knees like they do down south.
ETA: Nice edit. Now I look random as shite![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

True.
Sorry about that.
The SECSECSEC circle jerk does get tiring.

He will prove himself this weekend and at East Lansing.
Happy Valley is a difficult game, and is intimidating at night especIally.
That place will be crazy Saturday night.
Lots of piss balloons will be raining down from the student section.

Osu lost to VT at home by 14, lol. The same VT who lost at home to Miami tonight 30-6. Osu is a joke

Thats the measure of the SEC. We will be upset if we dont put 2 teams in the playoff.
The melt on the rant come 12/7 and only one SEC team is in the CFP is going to be glorious!

LSU lost to 5 loss Kentucky AND 5 loss Arkansas in 2007. Didn't seem to hurt them too much.

Why is this even being discussed? OSU is 13th in the polls and there's a ton of football to be played.

Because fair or not the national media is back on the OSU bandwagon. They are loving what they are seeing out of Barrett and Co. as well as the D which is starting to come along, at least statistically. The media wants a B1G team over a 2nd SEC team because of $$. Not a knock on either Ole Miss or MSU, who are playing great football, or Auburn or Bama who have tons of recent success, but if they can get OSU in, they will do it.
It gives them ammunition for 1 of 2 things:
1. OSU get beaten on the big stage again, and ESPN etc. can continue the narrative of how awful the conference and OSU is.
2. OSU wins a game in the playoff or both and all of a sudden "THE B1G IS BACK BABY" and they can make serious $ off that
I think OSU right now would likely beat a good number of the teams ranked ahead of them, but I have absolutely no problem with those teams being ranked ahead today. OSU has a bad loss, even if there is a prime excuse sitting right there

Ohio State just needs to keep taking care of business. Go into a very hostile environment in Happy Valley and handle your business. The more we win, the stronger the hate grows. I love it. Play the villian, because thats exactly what we are!

Clearly the Heisman isn't about finding the best player in the country. It's about finding the the most valuable player...

Then why not talk about their total strength of schedule. Why not concede that they will have beaten division champion, possibly 1-loss Wisconsin/Nebraska and a very good Michigan State team? Obviously their chances are contingent on them winning out. You understand that right?
Its fair to say you don't think Ohio State will win out. Its ridiculous to use half of the games they will play as their resume. They are in the discussion because they are capable of running the table and finishing 12-1 with a few quality wins.

SOS is a dumb number to use I have never liked it.
