It's strange b/c he was at Cincy long enough that you can't really say it wasn't his program. As an extremely casual observer I'd say the Badgers inability to keep their QBs healthy is a major part of what's gone wrong but beyond that I wouldn't know. Wisconsin posters tend to blame him changing their offensive style so perhaps there's some of what happened when Bill Callahan was at Nebraska going on as well.

Stoops agent was a damn genius putting that 60 day clause in his buyout contract.

Hindsight is 20/20, but Cincinnati in the American wasn’t a tough place to win a lot of games. Also have to wonder if Freeman was a large part of his success.

They aren't going to randomly fire Napier the day after a win.

They're on a bye next week which is the best time to do it. A few of the other coaching changes happened this season before the bye week.

Maybe the Cincinatti program is just a really great job (similar to Memphis) at the G5 level and the coaches there all have success no matter what.

Numerous coaches have been very successful at Cincinnati

Barnhart is a fricking idiot when it comes to major sports contracts. He should be getting all of the heat between this and the Cal lifetime contract (again, thanks Arky).

Fingers crossed he leaves for somewhere else.

I like you guys, but who do you think you are that you can just turn over coaches like this? How about maybe staying the course with someone for 5 or 6 years?

I feel like some of the B1G West teams were hurt when they got rid of the divisions. If you could just be the king of those six teams, you stayed relevant in college football. Also, adding the Pac 12 teams hurt those squads. It was one thing to compete with OSU, Michigan, and Penn State. How many years are going to be in the mix with those schools, USC, and Oregon?

I haven't been paying attention to UK whatsoever, but am surprised that Stoops is on the ropes. That's another situation where I say, who do you guys think you are? This isn't basketball.

For some stupid reason he implemented the air raid at Wisconsin.

Can teams only be tied to one offensive style for eternity? What a dumbass thing to say lol

no, that game last night, bought him his job till end of season, then he gets shite canned.

but to be fair, Lexington has a lot of cash, he should have a NIL war chest, and if he cant get it, then who can come in and do better???, and stay??

Dave Aranda better be. Terrible head coach with zero motivational skills. 1-5 vs TCU and totally unprepared after a bye week.
