Mizzou against Gawga
Was just about to come post this.
May lay a little on the Mizzou moneyline this weekend.

Zona @ USCw... although, I don't see it as much of an upset, but for some reason Vegas has the fighting Orgeron's as 6 point favorites

I think Washington has a good shot against Oregon at home. They have a good offense, so if their defense can at least do a little to slow Oregon down they can stay in it. Oregon hasnt really faced a D as athletic as Washington yet and they just lost their TE, who is a big part of the offense.
I agree that Oregon is on upset alert. However, TE is the least of my concerns. Lyerla hasn't played much since the 2nd game where he dropped three passes and missed UT and the last game entirely. Johnny Mundt and Pharoah Brown are beasts at TE. We are loaded 4 deep with guys that were all 4 stars. Again, TE is the least of my concerns in this game. Lyerla was missing all kinds of assignments and was called 1b to Pharoah Brown's 1s going into the season.
The only reason that I am concerned about this game is that UW is the only complete team we've faced and it's on the road.

I have three..
Oregon: tough road environment at Washington and they can score with em
Stanford: watch out for the Utes at home
Louisville: Rutgers can score

i know Mizzou is the trendy pick, but Pinkel is still the coach. I don't trust him or the Defense.
It wouldn't shock me, if they shite the bed. I've seen this play out, way too many times.

they face an athletic defense in practice. Oregon wins their tenth in a row against them.
To say Colt was a BIG part of their offense is a reach. Goodbye Colt...hello Johnny Mundt. No worries.

My point in the athletic defense was that Oregon's offense often seems to either get it going and put up 50 or get held to 21 or less. I knew TE's are a big deal in the offense, just didnt realize yall were deep there.

Jawja is at home. Although down with injuries they still have enough to compete with Missouri and blow them out.
I don't know anything about Utah but their record ain't impressive and their loses aren't to very good teams. So I'm going with Stanford.
For me my upset pick is Washington at home vs Oregon. Although it seems to me the PAC 12 good teams lose at home. Kinda like Bama vs LSU. Washington is off a very close lose to Stanford and is looking for revenge and respect. Oregon's only impressive win this year to me is the win AT Tennessee and boy was it impressive, they throttled the Vols. I like Washington's wins better.

We have scored less than 21 once in the last 3 seasons. Not even LSU '11 held us under 21. That was our first game as well when the defenses are ahead of the offenses and we returned 2/5 starters on oline.
UW is small on defense. They put speed and athleticism on the field but they are small. Against Stanford they loaded the box with 8 guys, played the corners on an island and played a deep safety. Stanford runs straight ahead and the only guy on the perimeter that could make them pay was Montgomery.
Stanford gave us a problem because they can hold the edge and perimeter. Stanford has 280 pound 3-4 DEs and 260 pound OLBs with CB that are close to or are 200 pounds. Conversely, UW plays with 250 and 230 4-3 ends and the OLBs aren't even 220. If our pulling linemen get a hat on them, then we smoke their defense. Stanford could attack our blocks and stretch plays out and not get us going North/South. They just pushed our blockers into the play. UW is going to have to get behind blocks and make tackles. I don't see them holding us to less than 21.

You scored 19 on Auburn in the 2011 championship, and not to make excuses but LSU allowed a garbage time TD.
Thank you for the further insight on the game and what you think Oregon's weaknesses are. Mainly I'm just hoping for a good game

We played Auburn during the 2010 season. Of course, the game landed in 2011 but I've never heard anyone refer to the ND/BAMA game as the 2013 BCSNCG.

That's right. Auburn was the 2011 BCS National Championship game. However, I think of the 2010 team.
