Montgomery area is easily 80% Falcons fans. Mobile is 80% Saints fans. Crazy how different they are in terms of fans bases and just a little over 2 hours away from each other.

I know very few true NFL fans who live in Alabama. Most people are like me I think and follow their college favorites and fantasy teams. The diehards I know are all from elsewhere, mainly the Midwest.

That said, Ive never lived south of Bham and it seems that the Saints are fairly popular in Mobile. The two falcons fans I know grew up in GA. I don’t know a single falcons fan from AL. Lot of Braves fans.

Yep, still a ton of Cowboys fans in north FL since the Jags didn't exist until 95. Always on TV almost every weekend.

Montgomery is only a little further away from Atlanta than Mobile is to New Orleans.

I'd add that driving from Mobile to Montgomery is one of the most boring arse drives you'll ever take except for the Dolly Parton Bridge.
