Who are some athletes that the media either covered up or forgotten

Guys that were bad humans and either the media swept it away or just never mentioned it
My 4 to start the list
Marvin Harrison shot a guy, possible drug kingpin, and now in HoF and never gets mentioned when discussing criminal athletes
Mickey Mantle cheated on wife(s) multiple driving drunk instances the New York media knew and said ehh
Jason Kidd DUI’s domestic violence with wife and then another abuse case
Floyd Mayweather multiple abuse cases jail time for these

The UFC lets Greg Hardy fight like it's no biggie and he isn't in MMA just because he's too much of a criminal and domestic abuser to play football any more.

Marvin Harrison is a great example because not nearly as many people know about what he has done as they do about Ray Lewis, Mayweather, etc.

Reggie White. He was the pastor for a church in TN that burned down in 1996. He was able to raise $250,000 to rebuild it, but never did. Word on the street is he pocketed the money. Can't find anything out there on what happened to it other than he died 8 years later without rebuilding it.
