The NBA just had one of the most interesting off-seasons in recent memory. No one got arrested either. Thank you Adam silver for being the best commissioner in sports

I’ll keep tuning into the NFL bc at least I don’t know who’s winning the next 5 Superbowls

The Warriors are going to take the excitement out of the league this season. Whatever interest gets generated inside the NBA this year will be prognostications about what will happen in next summers free agency, and not the actual sport this upcoming season.

If Chris hadn’t gotten injured the rockets would have won that series.

No they didn't.

How so? The new rule requires one to stand if out on the field, and the Dolphins have taken it even further.

To be fair, Silver has nothing to do with that. The NBA has had a anthem policy in place for over 20 years. This is why they have no issues. They had a strict policy and enforce it. The NFL could learn. Make the anthem mandatory participation for all on field personnel. Has zero to do with free speech. You have no right to free speech in the work place.

The Patriots have played in 5 of the last 10 superbowls and 2 of the last 3.

And the Eagles just won the Super Bowl as a preseason non top 10 team.

NBA couldn't have that in a million years.

NBA is ran by a handful of players, and about 3 teams matter.

That's better than the last 4 NBA Finals being played by the same two teams.

Hell, the Lakers and Celtics have faced each other 12 times and have combined for 33 of the 72 championships.

Yep. Same team is going to win 4 out the last 5 years. Now that's compelling.

Either way, you don’t see NBA players complaining about the policy. NBA players are much more contemplative breed

The one gripe I have about the nba is the hipster emo fan base types the kind that will melt down and say the season is over bc cousins went to GSW. Of all things. Then go in their room and put on some fall out boy and bon iver and sulk. With the rising popularity you get a lot of the younger millennial types that don’t know the game as well and are a little more emotionally frail than the people I am used to being around. It throws me off big time around here reading some of these posts saying cancel the season and all that. I don’t get it.

I don't know. I would much rather watch the Warriors than the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game for the umpteenth year in a row.
