And if you take away this year then he has 19 vs 12 in favor of home, still a small same size however just like 5 out of 9 this year. His power could translate like Troy's did where over 786 games he only has 13 more at home runs.

It's easy to become a prisoner of the moment when doing these things. Some guys develop more quickly than others. I try to keep that in mind.
C: Perez -- The whole package potentially. Could improve his plate discipline like every other Royal in history and has the big frame to hit for power.
1B: Hosmer -- Still a believer. I like what he did in the minors and his first season, at the age of 21, was beyond impressive. One or even two down years at the ages of 22 and 23 doesn't discourage me too much.
2B: Profar -- You don't see that kind of production potential from MI.
SS: Castro -- Pretty weak position when compared to the rest. Want to see more from Segura -- he wasn't this good in the minors. Never been all that big on Starlin, but he is only 23.
3B: Machado -- If you've watched MLBN this week, then you've heard that "scouts have been grouping him with Trout or Harper" or something to that effect. He seem to do everything well, or at least has the potential to, unlike the other young 3B who have glaring weaknesses.
LF: Harper
CF: Trout
RF: Stanton -- Best pure power on this list. I like Heyward but he needs to curb the streakiness.
SP: No need to get cute here. Give me Stras. Hope he stays healthy.

I am going to set this up as a lineup.

Harper 7

I couldn't argue with that.
My list would probably be:
C: Perez (love the defense)
1B: Rizzo
2B: Profar
SS: Simmons (because I'm a homer and I think his defense is ungodly)
3B: Machado
LF: Bryce
CF: Trout (he's played more innings in CF, but seems like the Angels want him in LF)
RF: Heyward (still think his total package is better than Stanton)
SP: Sale

I understand the homer pick. I probably could have gone Andrus over Starlin if I was not a Cubs fan.
I was tempted to put Heyward. I love his patience at the plate, and I think we are not far away from a 35-25 season from him. I just could not resist the raw power of Stanton.

I didn't know you were a Cubs fan.
It was Simmons or Andrus for me.
Moments like this make Stanton one of the most must watch players in baseball:

I think people jumped ship a little too early on the Royals' prospects.
It's a little to early but this show how ridiculously hitter friendly their minor league parks are. There offensive numbers were inflated.

Hosmer's swing is just so long.

He's the one I really am not sure is long for a good career.

Hosmer looked horrible in his three games against the Astros. It was as if he was swinging a wet paper towel roll.

Watching him in person at the World Baseball Classic was painful.

Great list, WiseGuy
Sorry you forgot to list Jose Fernandez as one of your best young pitchers. Dude just turned 21 and only has 27 Ks in his last two starts.
