Since I have been watching football since 1994 these were the worst Super Bowls I have seen:

2000 ravens vs giants
2014 Seahawks vs Broncos
2019 patriots vs rams

I still have the 2000 ravens vs giants as the worst super bowl game that I have watched. I hated both teams and were boring.

Denver has been blown out in more than one Super Bowl.

Lucky for me, I was born in 1992 and never saw any other than this one.

Agreed on how bad it was, literally from the first snap.

When one team beats the other with a brick all night at least something is happening. Also Ravens/Giants had back to back KO return TDs, which might be impossible in today's game, and that was after an INT return for TD.

Ravens are an all time defense. No shame in how that game played out. Ravens took them to the woodshed. Blowouts can be enjoyable even if the game isnt competitive. You can appreciate how dominant a team is. It was also the Browns/Ravens first SB win. Which people tend to enjoy.

Seahawks benefited greatly from Goodell meddling in the SB site selection process and doing something that had never been done before bringing a SB to NYC and giving the NFL a true cold weather outdoor SB. Considering the Broncos were the no.1 offense in the league that season and Manning was a bit older I think that game plays out differently if Goodell just lets the selection team do what they normally do and either have the game in a dome or in Florida. Regardless again it was Seattle's first SB win and they were dominant all year.

Patriots vs Rams - considering many NFL fans did not want either of these two teams here...there was backlash from the beginning. Patriots unlike the other 2 SB winners did not feature an elite defense but still held the opponent to 3 points a SB record for futility. Brady had already won 5 SBs and many fans already have Patriot fatigue without adding an additional title. Considering how the Rams got there and how they played...this was all around just bad.

at least Pats-Rams was still in doubt around the 1:00 mark.

Was still entertaining because of the big plays and surprise factor. Seahawks vs Steelers was much worse. Put that one up there with Ravens/Giants and Pats/Rams2018

You realize the game time temperature for that game was like 50 degrees? That’s not cold at all. That’s just an excuse as to why the Seahawks kicked their arse. Seahawks game planned the shite out if Peyton and he had an off game. Didn’t help that the Broncos D was really overrated.

the first Super Bowl i can remember watching was Denver-San Fran at the Super Dome.

the 49ers won 55-10.

i'd put that one over any i've seen since.

The Rams were within striking distance for most of the game earlier.

although i think you'd have to go back to the 60s or 70s to find out the last time a team failed to score a single TD in the Super Bowl.

what a dud by the Rams.

you were right. I had to double check. I remembered a snow storm getting blown in that weekend but the SB that night was clear. 49 degrees and for NY actually kind of perfect weather for the season. I retract my weather/outdoor comment.

1994 49ers vs Chargers

Probably one of the most uninteresting matchups that could have occurred from that year's playoff bracket. Steelers, Browns, Chiefs, or Dolphins may have been a little more entertaining from the AFC side. Chargers got obliterated. I think I turned it off at some point in the 2nd half.

Are you 12? The bears/pats, cowboys/bills are worse than all these. And I don’t think last night is even in the conversation. At least it was close

1. 2019 Pats v. Rams.
2. 2014 Seahawks v. Broncos
3. 1988 Redskins v. Broncos

There were some other blowouts (like the Ravens-Giants, but that was an all time defense; or the Bears-Pats, but again, an all time defense with a ton of star power).

This year's Super Bowl was bland as hell.

Ravens/Giants for me. The Giants had no chance and couldn't move the ball against that Ravens D.

Of course, the Ravens O was led by Trent Dilfer, so there was nothing attractive there either. It didn't matter, because there was almost nothing Dilfer could do to lose the game.

I could have subbed in at QB and handed the ball to Jamal Lewis every play and it wouldn't have changed the result. At least the Rams had a chance.

The arse kickings are a different sort of bad. Seahawks/Broncos, Cowboys/Bills, Niners v Broncos/Chargers were just non-competiitve, but stuff was happening. Ravens/Giants wasn't competitive and nothing was happening.

Not even close to the worst Super Bowl. This game was still being decided until the final minute. I will take that over any blowout.
