I watch the NHL the least because I have no ties to any of the teams for me to root for. We didn’t have little league hockey. My hs and college didn’t have competitive hockey teams that sent players to the pros. The minor league teams we used to have are long since disbanded. The nearest NHL team geographically is in Dallas, so I have never attended a game in person. My friends are considering picking a team to follow since we all actually enjoy the sport, but it’s hard to follow something you have no stake in (see also premier league soccer).

I picked the Sabres, didn't want to jump on any bandwagons.

Honestly though, before betting was legal in LA, I didn't know the rules to hockey. I started watching to follow bets, and found it was very easy to pick up the game as a fan, and now find it to be the most watchable sport outside of football

Yea, it's definitely not the NBA. These losers are just kicking and screaming because the NBA hurt their soft little feelings. They watch it far more than MLB or NHL. Just scroll through the MSB post right now.

NBA - it's been unwatchable for almost two decades. I don't care if they fix its issues, I won't be back.

It's easily NBA and golf for me. Golf has always been painfully boring. And will always be painfully boring.

The NBA needs to bring back the heated rivalries from 2-3 decades ago. Move the 3 point line back to keep teams from jacking up 50 3 pointers a game. And stop the glorified soap opera bullshite. It's really sad and pathetic when what happens off the court overshadows what happens on it. If drama queens like Simmons and Irving don't want to play, just let them fade away into oblivion. I don't care if X player gets suspended for being an idiot off the court. Change the salary structure so stars are less inclined to join their BFF's on other teams. It makes the regular season pointless as when the Warriors and Cavaliers kept meeting in the NBA Finals 4 years in a row. Yawn. Get rid of the idiotic gimmick play in games. 82 games is plenty enough to determine the best 16 teams. More mediocre teams don't deserve to be rewarded. Dump ESPN as a TV partner. NBC was a much better TV partner. And hire Cassidy Hubbarth for the top anchor position for the halftime show. Then get Pasch and Walton for the top broadcast team. Get rid of the hideous ads on the jerseys. Move the ads on the court, somewhere else in the arena or on the TV production. Make the Suns, Magic, Grizzlies, Nets, 76ers, Hornets, Raptors, Heat, and Hawks wear their sweet '80s or '90s jerseys for every game. Give Seattle the Supersonics back. It was stupid as hell taking them away in the first place. Consider playing outdoor games like the NHL does. Quit trying to pump up James as the greatest player ever. He's not. And stop giving stars the voice to air their political views. No one cares.
