Rosen- ready. I don't think he will be a bust but I also don't get the sense he is very competitive.

Darnold- I know he struggled with turnovers, but his team was meh. I think he would be ok in the right system.

Josh Allen- bust written all over him

Baker Mayfield- I think Mayfield can be very good due to his competitive nature. I do wonder whether his arm strength is a concern.

Lamar Jackson- he will absolutely be a bust if he has to play early. If he has a chance to sit and learn for 1-2 years, he could be every bit as good as Vick was.

Mason Rudolph- kinda boring but checks off all the Parcells rules of being a qb. He is inconsistent though. Reminds me of a less athletic Bortles.

This is the best qb class in a while.

Etling is clearly Pro Bowl material.

Jackson is more ready than you are giving him credit.

He was as efficient or more efficient as a passer than either Darnold or Rosen with an arguably worse supporting cast. He also ran for 1400+ yards and 17 TDs. Vick wasn't anywhere near as good of a passer as Jackson was in college.

I’d feel most comfortable starting Rudolph from day one.

Competitive nature? So those other guys aren’t competitors? Mayfield is going to bust because he’s a system QB. And he’s not that smart when you hear him talk...look at his behavior on and off the field. If he played for Wyoming, we wouldn’t know who he is.

It's almost as if you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Of course all of these guys are competitive, but Mayfield's extreme competitiveness is an intangible that he is widely regarded for. Your comment that he's a system QB isn't even worth responding to.

i think rosen and darnold need some seasoning, sitting behind a Veteran Qb for 5-6 weeks, sharpening their game.. they both have bad habits, that NFL defenses will kill them both on. Rosen is terrible about looking off wide open routes 5-10 yards downfield, instead forcing throws deep. Both are top Qb's in draft, but need some time learning in NFL.

Mayfield might be most ready, which doesn't mean he's a good NFL qb, just the most ready to step in and play.

Rest are projects who need to sit and learn behind a good veteran qb and a good system.

Patriots would love to get a Allen or Rudolph, to sit and learn.

I think Rosen is the most polished from a mechanical standpoint. He also has the physical tools needed to be a Pro Bowl QB. He'd be my Q1

Darnold obviously turned the ball over too much this season, but I'm more concerned with his long throwing motion. I don't think his coaching at USC is very good, so he's probably as ready as he's going to be

Haven't seen enough of Allen to comment

I like Lamar Jackson A LOT. He isn't ready to play yet, but his tools are off the charts. I would love for the Saints to take him late in the first to learn under Brees

You think any player playing at that level of football isnt insanely competitive? If he's good the reason isnt going to be because he's more competitive.

Wut?

He’s as good of a passer as Deshaun Watson and a far better runner. He’s absolutely ready.

Did Watson complete less than 60% of his passes?

Armchair quarterbacks need to chill out, they said the same thing about deshaun watson and then i saw him throw it 60 yards in the air, on a rope at seattle for a td. How many teams missed out deshaun watson bc of "concerns" about whatever nonsense. when guys are gamers, they're gamers, they just have that it factor and baker has it. I think he's too immature and that may be his downfall, but football wise, the guy is a gamer.

Darnold and Jackson are the only ones who have elite potential and both need time

Jacksons passing leaves a lot to be desired. He sails some very easy passes on a regular basis

Rosen has a ton of talent.

But he's also got a ton of Cutler in him. Just throws the ball up willy-nilly in desparation.

Darnold srambled a lot because his O-line sucked. But he still seemed to deliver while getting harrased. He reminds me sort of like Big Ben.

While Rosen has more Rodgers talent...not that he's Rodgers but you get the drift.
