Atlanta Braves or New Orleans Saints? Both have had similar success. Both aren’t exactly tier one franchises. Which in your own era do you consider to be worth more?

No. Even as a Saints fan, I don't agree with this. If both teams have the same number of championships, the team that dominated their division for a decade gets the bump as the more successful franchise. Also, they have multiple Hall of Famers.

They NL east domination was standard when I was growing up. Didn’t think it was a huge deal. Now I’m begging to beat the fillies.

New Orleans >>>>> Braves

Braves put out winning teams and can't sell out, had empty seats for Playoff and World Series runs. New Orleans, when their owners put out competitive football, they fill that place.

And Saints have the Who Dat Chick:

This can’t be a serious question. Nobody outside of Louisiana gives a shite about the saints. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Saints moved to a different city in the next 10 years.

Not even close. The Braves made eight consecutive League Series during the ‘90s. They won 14 consecutive division titles. They also played in five World Series during the ‘90s. Their achievements under Cox and Schuerholz is much greater than the entire history of the Saints.

But two of those weren't in Atlanta. Both the Boston Braves and Milwaukee Braves have has many rings as the Atlanta Braves.

In Atlanta the Braves are barely above the .500 mark, which is more than I can say for the New Orleans Saints.

As a fan of both teams it really isn’t close it’s the Braves. The Saints have been better the past twenty years but the Braves right now have a better future than the Saints. Braves were the best team in their division every year for 14 years. The best the Saints have been under Payton and Brees have some 7-9 and 8-8 seasons under them.

Both statements just aren't true. The Saints have a huge fanbase in the Gulf Coast area. The Braves have a huge fanbase in the south just from being on TBS everyday in the 90s.

Both of you are wrong.

Braves have the biggest broadcast in all of professional sports. Even have radio in Florida.

Most NFL watchers in Mississippi are huge Saints fans.

historically, or now? what criteria are we basing this off of? success on the field of play, or organizational success?

vague question is vague...

In your era. Technically the Saints have more championships for me. 95 was slightly before my time.
