Reading comprehension clearly isn’t your thing. OP asked what records will remain unbroken. I never said the “no sacks allowed” was the most impressive, I said with football moving away from the option/run it would never happen again. Same idea with Kevin Smith getting 450 carries in one season. But a few points..

- Why are you comparing Tommie’s passing attempts vs schools attempts? You do realize they had more than one QB right? Berringer/Turman had almost 70 pass attempts that year

- Danny Wuerffel YPA 10.0 Tommie Frazier 8.4 Not wildly different so not sure why you brought that up

Shawn Green’s 19 total bases in one game is going to be a tougher record to break

Mike Trout already tied it.

Joe DiMaggio’s record of 56 consecutive games with a base hit will never be broken.

I dont find this record to be completely unattainable like some of the others listed

I actually think the hitting streak will be one of the hardest to beat. While a lot of the career pitching records will be very tough based on the way pitchers are utilized today the hitting streak is a relentless record. You only have 4 guys in the last 10 years that even got 30 and 33 was the max.

You can't have a bad day for over 1/3 of a season. Only Pete has gotten to 40 in the last 50 years. The clubhouse pressure would be UNREAL in today's media circus. Plus the pitchers will be gunning because they want to be the guy that breaks the streak.

The record is not a big deal.

Stop acting like it's DiMaggio's hitting streak.

A triple-option team with a QB who threw about 400 less attempts than the yearly leader didn't suffer a sack?

Color me shocked.

That's not an all-timer; that's just a Nebraska fan record. Maybe Army can equal it next year.

In the late '90s a forgery claimed he had a typed letter from and signed by Lou Gehrig to Babe Ruth.

Unfortunately, for him, he made a mistake and made it rhyme,
"Washington- first in war, first in peace, last in the American League East."

1995 Nebraska team didn’t allow a single sack all season. I think a Navy team from the 60s only allowed 8 all season. That will never happen again with how the game has evolved

2 years ago Army only gave up 3 sacks on the year

2018 Amry is a really underrated team overall best service academy team of the last 20+ years and one of the best mid majors in that time too

Oh and the most unbreakable record is Fernando Tatis 2 grand slams in one inning because it has nothing to do with era

I mean, this is deceiving. How many times all year did they throw it...maybe 100?

DiMaggio’s record is breakable.

I agree. My guess it will be like DiMaggio's streak and start & stop in back-to-back seasons.

Modern era (or at least a guy who played in my lifetime), that Nolan Ryan strikeout record is incredible. The role of starters has completely changed since he retired.

Of the two "unbreakable" records Nolan Ryan holds I believe the strikeout record will fall before the no-hitter record. 7 is insane and requires tremendous luck and 10 players vs 3 (P,C,B) to make it happen.

The best part of Ricky H breaking the all time steals was that later that same day Nolan Ryan threw his seventh and by 10 o’clock Ricky was an after thought.

“But as of today I am the greatest of all time.”

Yeah but did you know Nolan Ryan threw another no hitter!! He’s 44!!!

Yeah, in fact of all the records in the OP this one might be the most obtainable.

How many times have players even batted 2x in the same inning with the bases loaded? I'm guessing less than 50.

You're probably right about "breaking" this record as it would require someone to hit 3 grand slams in one inning. A minimum of 16 runs would have to cross the plate before your 3rd AB with the bases loaded.

this one i think is gonna be the hardest.

Game is just different now. Tony Gwynn is thought of as the greatest hitter of the expansion/modern era and that got him to 20th all time.
