Just doesn't make sense for him to waste another year of his career with the Thunder, even on a 1 year deal

I think he gives OKC one more year.

If he does go anywhere, it's likely to DC, IMO (unless HOU makes a run at him--not sure what his relationship is like with Harden at this point).

he'll stay in okc one more year so his max contract is worth more under the new cba in 2017.

I could see Durant in Houston. I could see Howard playing for the Austin Toros.

Rox are gonna be making moves this summer. They have to.

He could come off the bench behind Boban

And he'd be reunited with Brooks (not that I think that'd be a major factor, but it makes for a nice story), in addition to being back home.

So....like normal, then?

Boston has a lot of money and could be an intriguing option. They have a great roster, a lot of money, and he will shoot 30 times a game.

Washington is the other option.

Or he does the 1 year contract and sees if the team can make improvements enough for him and Westbrook to both sign Max deals in 2017.

He's coming back to Texas y'all. He wants to be part of "the system"

Going to DC just doesn't make sense. They aren't that good and won't be a legitimate contender by adding KD

Didn't think about BOS. Damn.....that'd be something.

Him with Avery Bradley and Isaiah Thomas? That's a contender percolating right there.

Comical. Durant is starting to realize that the Western Conference is stacked top to bottom. The easiest way to the finals for him is an above average team in the Eastern Conference.

Durant actually hates playing in DC because too many friends and "family" hassle him for tickets and other bs

I don't think James wants him tbh. He's an old school kinda guy. Would rather win a ring on his own than teaming up with another top 5 player. The kinda player we don't see often in the league today in the age of super teams. Gotta respect James for that.

I really don't think anyone, KD included knows yet.

He'll be signing a 1 year deal whoever it is tho. And he's said some pretty down things about DC so I doubt it's there.

Still think he gives it 1 more go with Russ. I also do believe they both are unique enough to enjoy they're ability to lay low in OKC vs the insane pressures of playing in places like LA/NYC. We'll see.
